I've been doing a deep dive on ASOIAF for a few weeks. The interviews with George, the theories by Lightbringer, Quinn and a few others have good stuff. Man, I wonder hpw far this season is going into Fire & Blood?

Im so happy HOD is back!! I knew Blood and Cheese was a thing but had no idea what it would be. I even own the book but never read it not to spoil the show lmfao...but that scene was crazy!! Hard to watch, exspecially when you have kids, damn!

Very strong start, even with the slightly diluted Blood and Cheese retelling. This show definitely reminds me why I fell in love with the books and still consume asoiaf content.

it's such a big world and lore - and has lots of fans making content - some of it pretty awesome (maps, animations, charts)

I thought it was good start. I thought it was cool to see some other houses & Wall. They always do good job with opening credits. You can’t beat that theme! Yes that ending was Bananas! I was just glad we didn’t have to see it. Like walking dead I am always ready to turn my head. Your review really helped because apparently I missed some things.

During GoT seasons - maybe 3-5, I would go over to friends house to watch. She would always want to "skip" the intro and I would always want to watch it through, and hear the music. There's some deep lore and history in this show, I am sure I didn't even mention half of it. I read the books (audio booked a couple) but still get confused haha.

@@TWDExplained I haven't read these books either, so extra info from books I always appreciate. I don't know why anyone would want to skip that into but to each their own I guess. Its easy to get confused. The names are confusing enough. I am havng trouble with Aemond & Aegon. Its like Saruman & Sauron. Just makes me crazy! LOL!
