Firstly, they were less reliant on technology and most people lived off the land. This would at least make it easier for them to form defensive communities as they had so many survival skills. The large towns and cities would just be gone.

Very interesting video! I think in some ways they would have a leg up because of way they lived. They have chainmail & Armour that covered most of their bodies. Very skilled in swords & knives which are best because they are quiet & don’t attract walkers. They lived simply so they are already striped in way. I would think population would be less. Which I guess could be bad or good. I think common people would be worse off than common people in modern times. Structures weren’t built as well unless you were in castle. I think common people may be more skilled because they were more venerable to elements anyway. Some pluses & minuses. Either way it wouldn’t be fun! LOL!!

They could do something like this on tales of the walking dead. I dont think it would make a good, long running show because not many people are into mid evil times, especially females, at least i dont think. But id definitely watch something like that.

Depending on how you define the Medival period or era? Netflix made a Zombie Apocalypse show with that concept called Kingdom in 2019. The setting takes place in 1600s Korea after winning the Imjin War against Japan with the aid of China under the Ming Dynasty 大明 or 明朝. Long story short Japan lost the war while both Korea and Ming China won the war. Of course it would be more towards the Renaissance era since they are using guns and gunpowder weapons along with traditional weapons.

Anyone else miss the quality of each episode up until Season 7 episode 2? The lack of music (for the most part) and you'd just hear insects chittering. The characters actually spoke like real people. Characters were always sweaty and dirty and sleep deprived. Seems like everything we got after the season 7 premiere was just a run of the mill tv show, nothing special like those early seasons

simplest solution to settle in an area with few walkers and having at least some lights on in the evening : settle in a valley already providing a village with a natural water source, surrounded by steep hills, which itself is located in highlands. climbing steep hills takes determination, precise movement and keeping eyes on target for up to hours at a time. Walkers won´t do any of that without something to hunt, the low population would reduce that possibility down to no worries, and anyone nearby would not be attracted anyway cause lights are hard to see over hills if kept rather low. It could not keep off marauders completely though, but it would provide natural fortification to a whole small community, which could defend itself by sheer numbers and knowledge of the area. That´s where i would head to, early in an apocalypse. Up the hills to somewhere nobody ever cared about, as long as it has a roof and water, far away from the next real town.

I suppose some shows, heck even rock bands can continue on with very little members from, the original group, but not TWD. The spin-offs are nice, but there only going to get us so far until we're going to want the original crew back, or at least the top few lead people. The DD spin-off is good writing and acting, but in a season or two it will not feel like TWD if it stays in France. Anyhoo I hope we are here for a long time to come. Until next. P.S. I agree. I think it is important for Rick to be reunited with Daryl & Morgan. I really want to see Rick & Daryl Reunited. I would also really like to see crossover episode but I don’t see how that is going to happen if Dead City is so far ahead. If they don’t do as many seasons with Dead City as Daryl then Daryl could catch up but will we care about crossover 6 or 7 yrs down line. It’s all a crazy mess. There is really no way to know. I will be very excited to get that many seasons with Daryl if quality stays the same. Some people don’t like all traveling but I like that. You get see different counties & see how they differ in how they favor through apocalypse. I hope Carol stays with him too. They are my two favorite characters.

Yeah I am excited to see Bikeriders too but I am going to have to wait until comes on DVD. I have heard really good things and I like focus of movie & style it is told in. I know it will have some rough parts but looks like it has a lot of substance. Sadly I am not excited to see Norman. I don’t know if am going to be able to look at him. I get why he did it. He wanted to do something different and didn’t want to look like Daryl but Geezzz!!

I stopped watching when Carl died. He was the torch bearer and the writers really messed up with that one. He was the future leader and nothing else would do. The show was over for me at that point.

They will probably have some even more unrealistic reason to get them together again. Hey James! I'll watch Daryl for as long as Norman wants to continue! Daryl's my fave. I would be Extremely disappointed if there was never to be a reunion, at least between Rick and Daryl! I truly hope we ultimately get that reunion...would be nice if all our main guys would be reunited. Would be so sad if we don't get to see that. And I know to never get my hopes up too high!! Guess we have no choice but to wait and see! 😊
