Those old Mechanical Mercs. They were truly the Best Engineered Cars in the World. Sadly with all these Electronics, the Soul of these cars has been consistently eroded.

@@JasZg i have owned two prior german cars and indeed right now own one German car. So I totally disagree with your comment. This is not to say Japanese cars are bad. But they just dont have the same feel as the german cars. And yes I have owned several Japanese cars as well.

One day, when you realize that, you can write to me back.Japanese cars are superior in every aspects, specially durability, reliability and quality materials.German cars,from other hand, have no any of this quality.And yes,I am professional driver for almost 30 year's,I have own and driven many cars in my life and I know what I'm talking about.And I can prove all that.

I truly love Mercedes Benz auto's. But I hate to see them making the plastic crap now days. THESE ARE TRUE CARS THAT ARE COLLECTABLE. NOBODY COLLECTS PLASTIC.

И Вам Добра. Как Вам после w140 w124? С какой мотор и коробка на w124? Интересуюсь не из праздного любопытства, очень хочу приобрести w124. W140 думаю не потяну. Всё-таки S класс дорого. Может совет какой дадите. Спасибо.

@@Grigoriy217, приветствую. Извини, твой коммент только увидел. W124. Далёкий 1985 год. 4МКПП(растянутые передачи). НИКАКОЙ ЭЛЕКТРОНИКИ ! Первый и последний цинк. Pierburg, два жиклёра, вот и весь карбюратор. Катализатор на месте, да и весь глушитель ещё родной, без ржи, как и всё дно ! Задние арки и пороги чуть пошли, вокруг домкратных отверстий. Моторный и багажный без ржи.Салон в оч хорошем состоянии. Люка нет. Вёсла. Правое работает и вверх и вбок, левое рукой. Поменял радиатор, бампер(бывший хоз. расколол, видимо и радиатор повредил, тёк). Поменял стойки, вкруг. Лемфедер. Рулевые ещё родные, не знаю почему, но на них ещё 1986 год, загадка......... W140 много крови попортил, порой без средств к жизни оставлял. Содержание его на порядок выше, чем нынешний W124 ый.

@@user-bd5yg5op3h Спасибо за науку. Ещё больше хочу приобрести w124. А если повезёт, то купе. Раньше смотрел на рестайл, фары,решётка. Но сам не понимаю как, стал заглядываться на дорест. Мотор наверное 111 (2,2) , или 104 (3.2). Как думаете, какой ? Знаю Дизельный 606 очень надёжный. Подскажите Пожалуйста. А то в моём кругу общения, все пальцем крутят у виска, когда говорю что куплю w124.

I Live in most car city VLadivostok , between hundreds used japanese used cars , but first car i buyed a Mercedes W 163 ! Because MB # 1 !!!!!!

La verdad están muy bonitos los coches son modelos nuevos les voy hablar con la verdad se que no tengo para comprar un coche pero a mi me gusta la marca mercedes bendiciones y siempre me an gustado los coches convertibles en lo personal. ...never visited Arese's Alfa,Romeo Museum? It was the first built by a manufacturer in the distant 70s, and was renovated a few years ago. Very addicting in an interesting piece of architecture

Quello era un periodo in cui la Mercedes creava macchine veramente belle e di normale produzione ma fantastiche. A differenza di oggi che se non fosse per la stella sembrano tutte Coreane. Che declino del buongusto.
