Addison filming the fake lion was great,lol As I have got older I am 50/50 with the whole zoo thing, although it is great for kids to learn about different animals I have more sympathy for the animals now . We used to have a Large Cat sanctuary here ,ones they have rescued from circuses and such , there is nothing like hearing a large lion roar in person..it is crazy.

You should go to the Desert Museum in Tucson. Not sure why it is called a museum as it is more of a park/zoo. If you go during Oct- early Apr they have a raptor (bird) flight demo that is unreal!

My little Maltese howls!!! Lol!!! Seriously howls!!!! When he went to the vet to be “fixed” he was in a cage in w other recovering fur babies. He started howling and the ladies at the desk heard him and snuck back there to see who it was…they were very amused to see a 5lbs Maltese howling in his cage. My sweet baby was calling for me.

Red Robin is my sons favorite restaurant. We ate there when we stayed in Phoenix over the summer. We no longer have them where we live. The zoo looks like a great place to visit and I will put it on my list for our next visit to Arizona!

My son-in-law loves Otters and we got him an experience at the local aquarium to go into the Otter cage for his birthday. He also has a t-shirt the says "the Otter is my Spirit animal."

Although elephants are large and a human is a small per cent of their body weight, elephants are not physically designed to carry people and a howdah (a type of saddle) on their back. You might see many articles that say riding elephants does not hurt the elephants. However, this is false. 😢

Just want to Thank You for calling ahead to the restaurant. I worked in a small town cafe and we usually had only one cook on duty, calling ahead gives the chance to call in some help because a big group can be overwhelming for one person if there are other customers also. It doesn't seem like it would be an issue but if you have 20 or 30 regulars customers and adding 10 -20 more all at once it can be difficult for one person to cook everything. Our daily specials were only prepared for 8 -10 people( I told you it was a small town) and we often would run out right after the lunch rush.

I love seeing the kids love on animals, tell Addison and Aubrey to watch LOVE AND BANANAS on Stan and she will see why it’s not a good idea to ride elephants, also I loved Addison T shirt because that’s where I live, so if you guys are ever in this neck of the woods I would love to show you around , hugs to all

Looks fun! Love that Mark and Kylie were able to join! I do have a question though-when you are out in public places, how on earth do you keep track of all the kids-do they have a buddy system? Summer of 2023 I was in Scottsdale at a symposium for Nf or neurofibromatosis. When it was over three of my friends and me went to the phoenix zoo. It opened at 7am and we were there till about 12pm it was very hot about 110 I think but we had a great time and then went to the cheese factory and only that was so good. Even the gluten free that I had to have was so good. One of the ladies flew back to Idaho that evening I flew Bach two days later. And my other two friends drove back to Wyoming. It was a great time met and got many new friends and got to see other friends I had not seen in a year since we all live all over the USA. Scottsdale was a great place to stay and the resort we stayed in was fantastic. I just forgot the name of it. But staff was wonderful.
