I’ve learned that there are a couple important things that win championships in the NBA. First off the talent and chemistry, if you don’t have a talented team that plays well together you’re not going to win a title. Next is a good head coach, I feel that this only matters in the NBA if the team talent is close. The last key thing is finals/postseason players experience. This is the one I realize most recently. A team that knows how to play well in the postseason can win most series against a younger more talented team. For the Timberwolves I’m scared about their experience

OKC is second, celtics 3rd, knicks probably 4th. Celtics i get are more favorable because they have less of an obstacle in the way of the remaining 8 teams to get there. okc could possibly take out the wolves. i dont think dallas has a very good chance to get out of the second round against them boys in okc.

SAS and I must be watching a different game than everyone else. The TWolves have the deepest roster & they’re coached to their strengths. They’re faster, play more aggressive on defense, have 3-4 different guys who can guard Jokic so they never have to let up, their wing defenders are long and cover a lot of space, they’re the tallest team in the NBA & they’re surprisingly efficient shooting 3s. Nevermind Jamal Murray not being 100% makes him way easier to defend, and they got rid of their underrated defenders & rebounders from last year. TWolves are sweeping the nuggets and no one should be surprised when it happens.

I think Monica and Stephen both make good points. Boston has the easiest path to the finals compared to any other team. The only team that might be able to beat them is the Knicks if they don't have Porzingis, and even than they are probably still going to be favored since Robinson is already out. Minnesota has to close out Denver AND beat OKC with home court advantage and OKC has looked very good in the playoffs themselves. If it is Wolves versus Celtics with Porzingis still out or limited, I think the Wolves have the advantage, but it is very close. Going to be fun to watch regardless!

I’m not a wolves fan but I think people are really missing the fact that they have drastically elevated their play in the playoffs. To me they easily look like the best team and are proving it with #1 defense AND offense. Then you add in the best player AND closer so far IN THIS postseason and it’s tough to go against them. Suns were playing their best basketball ending regular season and was 3-0 vs wolves and they got swept. Denver was considered the best team and they’re on the door step of not just getting swept but embarrassed. Okc will have no chance imo cuz wolves perimeter defense with length will be a serious issue and they’ll get outrebounded badly. Boston will be an issue if white keeps up his play but we’ve seen year after year what happens when Tatum/brown face good perimeter defense. They become inefficient turnover machines. Wolves definitely should be title favorites.
