Why is it that people can't enjoy something without putting their grubby hands all over it? Do they honestly believe that the horse enjoys being pawed at by hundreds of people? It makes me sick to my stomach. I know it's not possible, so please don't come for me, but I wish there was some way of keeping the people back far enough that they can't touch or be hurt due to their ignorance. A young boy was recently bitten, not badly, and it happened because he was placed too close to the horse by his grandmother.

Red jacket asian thinks she is an empress and has the right to hold the reins, thinks it is her horse. Girl in the black 8:45 doesn't like to follow instructions, neither does the old woman in hot pink pants. People that don't listen to the Officers should be forced to stay AWAY from the horses. They loose the PRIVILEDGE to be at Horse Guards.

They really need to stop the tourists from touching the horses.

Stop people touching the horses it is cruel and unsettling these horses and guards are working they are not there for tourists entertainment. There needs to be a no go area around the horses and a DO NOT TOUCH THE HORSES sign.

The guards have definitely been told to stop shouting at the tourists. None of them do it now just pull on the reins, if they notice. A good shout hasn't been heard for ages now,

I loved when I heard a Spanish person said: don´t touch him!!! Some people get it!

Guards should show no mercy and be more aggressive to protect themselves and the horses.

Some horses actually enjoy the attention. Young ladies who love horses are sure of themselves. It's the non horsey people who irritate.

these horses are smaller than the Lifeguards and Blues & Royals so believe the tourists are more willing to reach out to touch them - last summer when they were here, few tolerated the touching of reins or even touching their mounts - makes me wonder if some of these guards are very new - are some tourists more disrespectful because these are female guards? these are army artillery soldiers!! I also blame the tour guides (who get paid very well) for not informing their tourist groups how to show proper respect to these guards and also stop urging them to get closer to the guard and military horse - I'm quite aware that the Monarchy enjoys the money the tourists bring to the country however disrespect of its military should not be tolerated - imho

So many tourists walk up to horse and Soldier, with No thought in their heads, and assume they can touch anything. All they seem to want is a photo to remember their visit . Almost as if the horse is a big cuddley toy , and the Military Soldier has very little meaning to them unless he/ she shouts at them. 🇬🇧

The latest thing of feeding the horse is a disaster waiting to happen 😮

Maybe getting a volunteer who knows the rules telling the tourists what they can and not do?

I feel very sorry for the horses. They are petted and by one person after the other, all day, day after day! The Guards don’t protect their horses either. It’s a shame!! 😢😢😢
