As _The Warning_ themselves are fond of saying, "The music *is* the language!" I can speak basic conversational Spanish (definitely of the Mexican variety), but you don't have to fully understand every nuance of their Spanish songs to "get" what they are expressing. You almost don't need to understand the majority of it; just feel the energy and pick up on the words you do know. Narcisista is one of my top favorites of all their tunes; I'd love it to be inserted into one of their albums... but so far, it's strictly a stand-alone "single". Doesn't matter; I bought it anyway. I have a directory on my car stereo chip that holds almost every musical piece I own called "The Warning - Singles". At this point, most of it is really 1/2 of "Keep Me Fed", but the star music in that directory is definitely this tune!!

This is such an FU song and I LOVE IT!!! Pau's vocals are so crisp and so pronounced that you can hear every rolled R (not forgetting enunciation of phrasing). Dany and Ale are just so in sync with their harmonies complementing Pau's lead. Recently they lead in the encore with this song (fans love it). Ale starts it off just with her single note phrasing off stage extending the intro. Then she walks on stage to a roaring crowd followed by Pau joining in on her hi hats, and finally Dany comes out with her smile and lays into the guitar riff. If you look up an English version of the lyrics, you'll find that "malinchista" doesn't translate. This word is specific to Mexico & basically means "cultural traitor" - someone who loves another culture more than their own. Nothing is further from the truth, as DPA are very proud of their culture. For a live reaction, flip a coin between the debut performance at Foro Didi and the rendition at Teatro Metropolitan. Both are amazing in their own way. The biggest difference between the two is in the audience reaction. The folks at the Foro Didi concert are kinda like "WTF did we just hear?!". A few years later, the folks at Teatro Metropolitan are ALL IN.

That was a curious choice to pick the lyric video since you don't speak Spanish. I was usually enjoying your reactions, but the last couple had parts where you were pausing every few seconds, and it was getting to be a bit much. I prefer the Foro Didi version with Pau belting it out from behind the drum kit over the Teatro Metropolitan version with the guest drummer. Pau does have a lot of fun getting out front though.

I don't understand why you watch the video with lyrics in Spanish, when you could easily see it in English xD. You lose 90% of the essence of the song.
