The removable hexes is a game changer. Just got my first set because I’ve been stripping my hexes pretty often. It’s a lot nicer to replace the hexes rather than the entire wheel.

I'm interested in seeing how much these balloon on 3s. One great thing about most modern Traxxas tires is they don't turn into pizza cutters like allot of the Prolines do. You can get the HP versions, but those are considerably more a pair.

I know people say the larger tires make the Rustler 4x4 motor run hotter. Any thought about putting the Hoss motor into the Rustler 4x4 to run the bigger badlands with?

Yes! You just have to get the 17 mm hex’s form proline and install metal 17 mm hex’s on your stub axle itself. I may have to, cause the 12 mm ones blow out so easily it’s not even funny anymore. It’s very frustrating.

I love these raid rims, but man do they strip out easy. 17mm ones seem to hold up pretty well, but the 12mm ones I use for my Traxxas 1/10s blow out so easily. Just ordered the aluminum hex’s from proline. Really hoping those work and don’t break the rim itself.

Love how proline copied the AKA mx tire . Its a shame aka doesnt make the tire anymore as I found they lasted longer then the badlands and I had more bite with the aka tire too
