VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
Bridgette and Clay owned a 1,600 square foot home and were living the "American Dream", but it didn't feel like a dream to them. They decided to sell everything, downsize and move into something smaller. After a lot of consideration, they decided to go with a Skoolie. They sold their home in 8 days, bought plane tickets and purchased an already built-out bus for 20K. They've made small changes over the last 6 months of living in it to make it work better for them (and their pets whom they love) and are loving the community they've become a part of and the lifestyle change. We wish them luck on their journey!

I came bc of the thumbnail. I stayed bc finally an interracial couple. Usually these videos are rather one note, shall we say. Like no POC. And here we have both. Which is a rarity in itself. 👍🏾I loved the color scheme. And I was won over because they have the exact stove I want for my tiny house.

I haven’t seen the videos. Everywhere I look I see wonderful tiny living people. But none who look like me. Seeing someone who looks like me, and all they represent just by being together, especially now, is beautiful.

Clay and Bridget are a lovely couple of totally real people. I really admire their lifestyle choice and enjoyed the tour of their beautiful home. Bridget is a gorgeous woman with the prettiest smile ( you're a lucky man Clay ) and she has a wonderful personality. I love how most folk who choose this kind of minimalist living show so much enthusiasm for their most practical items and how they appreciate the things they need rather than the things they want. I wish them both all the happiness in the World and hope each day is a great adventure.

Lot's of people ask me about building a skoolie conversion. I always tell them buying used is the best way to go if you limited time! This couple did just that.

On a side note, I watched this the day it was released and noticed that the license plate was not blurred. For the protection of your interviewees' privacy, I recommend using YT tools to blur those very private personal details. While I'd love it if that wasn't necessary, we live in a world with plenty of assholes so let's protect those we put in the very public internet :)

Cute bus conversion. They should definitely look into solar power considering ALL the appliances on that bus. This is the first bus I've ever seen with a washing machine/dryer combo unit.

So great to see an interracial couple finally! Yay!! I love your sense of color, all that turquoise! Most people are afraid of color and keep it all beige and brown, but this is strikingly beautiful. Goes with the warm gold of the wood tones very well. The bus was a very good bargain at $20K. Seems to be a quality build. Such a nice home and no more rent, hooray! Very glad you built your own toilet and did not buy that rip off Natures Head for $1000! Much better. Thanks for the tour of your lovely home!

This bus has "everything" and more (amazing amount of storage) plus a super lovely couple to enjoy it - congrats! Love the color scheme, that shade of turquoise offsets the dark wood so well making it look cool and breezy. Bridgette has such a fantastic laugh and made me smile throughout the tour and Clay obviously loves her heaps - always fantastic to see. Thank you for sharing this tiny home bus!

This is the most beautiful, practical, and functional bus conversion I've seen yet!! This lovely couple did an amazing job of transforming this school bus into a warm and homey abode. I love the turquoise and warm brown accents which gives the interior a cabin-like feel. I wish this couple happy adventures, and thank you for showing their gorgeous mini home.

Imagine buying your entire house for $20k. Not only do you have a house, you're not paying mortgage on, but if you don't like the view, you can drive your house to the beach and go for a dip and maybe just stay there for a week or two and then come back. My God I want that soo bad!

I watch nearly every tiny home video that comes my way, this beautiful woman described her home in such a way that kept me entertained and fully invested. I loved it. Their home is gorgeous, well thought out and super cool to tour so I can only imagine what it would be like to live in. I fully enjoyed this one! I hope they make many amazing memories and go on as many extraordinary adventures as they possibly can! They are a cute couple, I hope we get to see them again down the road !!!

Wow, that is a *MASSIVE* wood burning stove for the space...I imagine it must get boiling in there when you fire that up. Have you ever thought of downsizing just a bit to make heating a bit more manageable? Perhaps a trade with someone who wants a larger size? Btw, I have the same shower curtain and love getting a bit of travel inspiration while showering! Thanks for the lovely tour.
