Hi! I’ve been seeing a lot of comments about me talking about the small fake service dog. I have many friends with small service dogs! In no way was I trying to say that small dogs are always fake, but the majority of the time people fake smaller dogs as service dogs. I was implying in the video that the wiener dog was misbehaving. As soon as it saw Dakota. It went crazy, barking and pulling on the leash. I mumbled under my breath that it was not a real service dog. NOT BECAUSE OF ITS SIZE BUT BECAUSE OF ITS BEHAVIOR. Now listen, all dogs, even the best behaved service dogs mess up. But a dog that does that is definitely not ready for the airport. I mentioned that it was a wiener dog, to further describe the dog. I’m sorry for the confusion guys, at that time I was very lost in everything, but I still tried to vlog. I hope you guys understand as I do suffer from multiple mental disabilities. I try my hardest, but speaking is something I’m not good at, especially with my declining health. Thanks so much guys for the support. I’m seriously so sorry if I offended anyone. I have a husky, I’m in no way in any place to breed shame! 💜 Much love.

I have a dachshund. He is an amazing service dog (not 3 lbs and not a pet). He is also 9 years old and protective of me due to my C-ptsd and paranoia. He slips up as well, but if someone made a comment like that because he growled, I'd be upset as well. I understand the stigma on small service dogs, and they are used as fake service dogs most but we can't do much about them. Protect yourself and Dakota first.

What you said was pretty clear. "Come on your dog is like 3 pounds, just call it a pet" and I felt like you did really mean it. I agree with your apology, I just wish you would take full ownership instead of always blaming everything you do wrong on your disabilities. I have many disabilities, but that does not excuse me or allow me to be an asshole and insult others. It doesn't give me an all access pass to be rude, get the perfect seating I want at the expense of others, to breach safty laws in an aircraft or for anything else. I just wish you would stop using disabilities as a reason to A) get something that you are not entitled to or B) Excuse something that you did or said. I feel like you use the disabilities excuse for almost anything to get your way or to get out of a tight spot you put yourself in from something you did or said. You know for a fact people cant argue the disability card so you use it. I am not here to argue that people with disabilities cant act out in frustration at times. Isolation, chronic pain and overall illness will for sure make someone act out in an abnormal way. I totally get it especially if its once and while or in an episode. But you use the disability card for everything. So although I appreciate your apology, I still wish you would have fully owned up and for once....not used the disability card. Just apologize like every other person does (and yes this includes those with disabilities.)

Lyssa Dunn right? Also ESAs and sometimes pets are allowed in airports. Plus she didn’t even comment on the little chihuahua that was ignoring the situation and checking in with their handler like a PRO. She (along with many SD youtubers) really like to add fuel to the fire and make a huge deal about small situations. Handling an SD you have to be prepared for stuff like that to happen and tbh it’s a training moment for everyone. Don’t focus on the bad but instead talk about how it was a great training moment instead of blowing the situation out of proportion.

I agree. Sure the other person should train their dog before taking it out to public places, But after the other dogs owner blocked line of sight between the two dogs to try and calm it down she moved around to where the dog could see her again which is a shitty move. I know a good amount about dog training and to get a dog to focus back on you and calm down about surrounding stuff is to move away but still in line of sight or move out of the line of sight completely. she moved around back into line of sight just standing there and having her dog sit was just to film and get content to later bitch about it. I have a dog who behaves like this around other dogs and I would film her right back if she did stuff like that while im trying to either Train my dog to be around other dogs, or just trying to calm it down.

Damn, bit of an attitude problem. First off, you were late for your flight, doesn't matter if it was only 10 minutes YOU were late. Thats all on you. Secondly, it's not great that you don't get extra room for your dogs, but the cabin crew were clearly worried about the cart or somebody stepping on the dog. At one point you even say " oh my god her tail is out a tiny bit?" sarcastically, proving the flight attendants point that the dog could in fact have been stepped on. They were looking out for the dog and trying to make sure they don't get sued.

I never normally comment on videos, especially if I have something negative to say but I feel like I need to let you know if a few things. You’re behaviour towards other people’s dogs is astonishing. You appear to instantly bash the owners and deem the dog fake or unworthy of being out in public. If it’s really causing you a problem or stress, remove yourself from the situation. Another thing I find appalling is your attitude towards others who are either asking you questions or simply admiring your dog. Those flight attendants were asking you, with the utmost kindness, to keep Cloud out of the aisle. If you’re really that concerned about the space that the dogs have, pay for the extra leg room instead of complaining. Dakota and Cloud look very cramped and I’d hate it, as I’m sure you would, if something happened to them as a result. I get that your PTSD might hinder you from dealing with situations with a clear mind but please take others into consideration. I wish you the best in your future endeavours :)

They're going to get pissed every time they fly, no matter the airline because A. You have to book a bulkhead seat well in advance and B. It's ALWAYS going to cost more because it IS premium seating. Just like a larger person may have to pay for 2 seats, yes you DO have to pay for the extra leg room. Crippled folks like me, who are in agony after a flight in the cheap seats understand that if we want to be able to walk at the end of the flight, book in business class or book early to get the bulk spot. This part had nothing to do with her PTSD. This is lack of understanding how the world works (ie it doesn't revolve around you) Lots of people have disabilities. Perhaps the people that were in those seat that day were like me and needed them just as much as you. Your poor planning was not the airline's fault.

I’ve noticed whenever someone wants them(their group) to do something even when asked very politely they’re very unwilling to compromise and quick to butt heads... See, what makes people not want to help you and fix the problem, is when you act spoiled or entitled. Not saying you did, but when you begin with a sentence like “we have already had many problems with this airline and we are getting really fed up.” It doesn’t make anyone want to help you. A better thing to say would be, “I have flown with you guys before and they have always allowed me to sit in the aisle seat with my service dog. They are trained to stay curled up and is not in danger of being hurt or tripping someone.” I wouldn’t even bring up the previous issues, it makes them angry because you are grouping them in with people they don’t even know, and they will think that the reason you’ve had so many problems is because you guys are troublesome people.
@marynguyen2214
@marynguyen2214 4 жыл бұрын
Now, the reason why they are acting this way is due to high anxiety and high stress. People WILL NOT act proper when they have mental disabilities. If people, or workers, understand their animal policies and not having to give a hard time, then there would not be a problem in a first place. It goes both ways and honestly, can't expect anyone or anybody to be optimal, plus it goes both ways unfortunately.
@casiorollo
@casiorollo 4 жыл бұрын
Mary Nguyen yeah, but again, they made it stressful for themselves. Everyone else was talking calmly, and they have legitimate concerns, like what if everyone is asleep and the lights in the cabin are dark and the dog’s head is in the aisle while the roll the cart of drinks down the aisle, then they get sued for hurting it. Just because you have a disability does not give you a free pass for everything. I have ADHD and Hyper Focus, but you don’t see me getting mad at my family for not telling me when I’ve spent more than 2 hours on a task and didn’t realize it. Their service dogs are there for a reason and if they are stressed and the dogs are trained to respond to a stress-related disability, then it would sit up and comfort them. Just today I was on a train in the lower cart seats. Someone came on with a service dog, took one look at the full seats, and said loudly “I’m not going to fight for my disability seat today.” And walked upstairs. I was personally offended. I am usually a very accommodating person, and would have happily walked upstairs and given up my seat despite my right foot and knee that I injured in a crash recently. The guy across from me had even squished himself against the window to let her sit there, but she didn’t even look. She automatically assumed every single one of us were awful people who didn’t care about a disabled person. That’s what I hate the most, when they assume everyone else is out to get them and doesn’t like them. My motto is “nice until proven mean” and it is the same for them. But for her, it was always “mean”. Quite a few people I’ve seen with service animals act in this way.

I could say o well you can just walk over my 2 inch stap that's sticking out.... but then they would kick me off the plane. If a cane was blocking the isle way...it would be the same thing. Service Dogs are to be trained by professionals for certain tasks. That is why typically bigger breed dogs are used for service dogs. If those dogs are acting like that in public, they were not professionally trained. A good bit of people think oh I'll get a dog and train it myself and then say it's my service dog. That's not how it works. You have to have the order written from your doctor and then they set you up with trainers for a dog. That dog is specially trained for your needs. Sadly anyone can order the vest from the internet, so they cheat and say they have a service dog when in fact its probably just a ES dog and those are not allowed in businesses.

Also, weather the SD is a small Weiner dog or a huge Shepherd doesn't matter. As long as it is trained to help his/her owner. And how dare you complain to the flight attendants? It is their job to make sure everyone is safe including the dogs. Cloud could have easily get stepped on by other people or carts, they asked poliety if you guys would just move a seat so everyone can be safe and you decide to yell and cuss them out? You also have a big problem with other people. You don't like when other people yell at you or take pictures of your dog yet that is exactly what you do to them. I just moved my dog over with no problem, you did not need to be so rude and then snicker about it after he had walked away. He didn’t say anything wrong. Me, as a 12 year old child is more sensible than you, sorry but the attitude was not needed. They don’t refuse to abide by FAA regulations. It’s YOUR responsibility as an owner to pay for extra seating, for you and your dog. Sadly nowadays everything comes at a price for convenience. I for one can't fly without buying two tickets because I have to use a seat belt extension even though I can fit in a seat (but not the belt) when they could have made the belts longer in some seats to accommodate say taller person or a person with wider hips. That has to squeeze themselves in a seat made on a plane that could easily remove seats but they cram people in to make more money instead of spending more fuel to fly two planes with more room.

I like your videos, it just triggers me how if you see any other handler and you immidently jump to conclusions about them being fake. I have a Service dog for my really bad anxiety disorder. Large crowd, getting yelled at, and not knowing what to do in a situation makes me super anxious. I was in Walmart, my sd is a pitbull, A runt, so he's the size of a 7 month old German Shepherd puppy. Another handler comes up to me. She had a labador, she begins telling me that "he's not a service dog. Pitbulls can not be service dog due to their agression. Stop faking your dog. Get out of I'll call the cops" I repeativly tell her calmly, he is a service dog. I begin shaking and my heart is beating so fast it's making it hard to breath for me. My sd pulls me away towards the doors. (Like he I trained to do. Take me to a safe place) the ladies follows me. So I just sit. And he presses his head on my chest (it's a way to make me focus on him) and then the ladies shuts up and says "oh sorry," and walks away

Still a working dog that doesn't need to be distracted. And you should still ask to record. It's rude to record everyone and show their faces. That fact doesn't change. Her recording "fakes" is also flawed. She dubs them fakes pretty quick, but her word is not law. Airports also have ESA now. Along with SDiT. And a new experience could make a dog act out (or because of boredom) and it takes a min to recenter the dog.... Anyone recording and purposely antagonizing the dog while the handle is trying to regain control is BREAKING one of the main laws that protect SD! You're not supposed to distract, you're supposed to back off and let the handler regain control. At this point that should be something she automatically does, as she's been on the other side of the situation and has had ppl try to distract her SD. She wants all the protection from the law, but doesn't even think about how that law also protects OTHERS. It just makes me very sad.

Her playing in wheelchairs/scooters has upset me before... I mean the whole fight about SD is that we have the right to reasonable accommodations.... Well having access to wheelchairs is part of that for others. I'm always thankful when a store has a scooter open and I'm given no trouble when I grab it... Some days I'm in town longer than the pinched nerves in my back are happy with... It hurts too bad to walk and the fact I have to walk on concrete floors just KO me. But it's only sometimes, so my wheel chair is put up at home. Even then, I've been willing to sit on a bench and wait for my family to finish shopping, if an elderly person that has to shop for themselves comes in and NEEDS it. Sigh. Just very disappointing to see where she's heading lately. This isn't properly educating ANYONE. She has trained her dog well, don't get me wrong. I'm working with a husky now and oml. The energy and adhd and the noise hahaha Great dogs, just harder to focus.

@@ItsyClover Ik the feeling, took a long time for me to be able to handle ppl again. Part of it was I was so mad ppl thought treating SD pairs like they had been was fine, that treating another person like that was acceptable in any way... And another part was wanting to go out with family, or even just go to my Dr's like a normal person without being attacked. The little towns around me had no idea about SD, but once they started seeing me around and I refused to back down.... I had to threaten to call the police myself a few times, which I set myself up for success by getting to know the local pd and make sure they roughly knew the laws existed..... The local ppl are wonderful. They were willing to listen to my long winded explanations about SD related things, and share them with others... It helped that I was decent at speaking to kids as I watched my little niece often, and they loved sharing with their parents, teachers, classmates... you get the point. I used my SD to ground myself medically and socially. He helped me connect with other ppl- and it shows with how friendly he is since I used to let ppl pet him as long as they asked (so I knew when he might be distracted so I'd stop walking and not trip and die)... It's each handlers choice on how friendly they let their SD be with the ppl around them... For me in small towns out in the country, it helped. In the large city I can't imagine not having a do not pet sign lol. But I hope you can find your balance, and not be afraid to make use of it due to some ppl being jerks. Also, exploring the root cause of the ptsd and why you're scared of ppl helped me face it. I had to separate back then, from now.... But grounding technics are a useful tool as well, I learned a few as a child due to my asthma.. Might be worth looking some up that you can do with and without your SD. Ik the scent of pine trees helps me center myself, reminds me of the land and woods I grew up in :) Like I said, I hope you find ur balance! It may take some time, but I hope this might help a little towards that goal. The only time I drew attention to myself back when I had panic attacks and flash backs was when I was accosted over my SD... Someone tried to shame me while also wearing an entire bottle of heavy perfume that would set most asthmatics off... I've had to help my baby sister during one of hers, so that's personal and it lit a fire under my rear end that day... That woman rued the day she thought she could get away with that hehe.

Accountability is one of the most important things with a lot of disorders.

Honestly she is helping with the reduction of untrained service animals. There is a ton of them out there. It's not fair that they can get away with it while she has to constantly fight for her right to have her trained PTSD service animal. It's not hard to find them at all because they stick out like a sore thumb. And there are other youtubers who have the exact same experience and reactions. I literally watched a dog climb up a girl's wheelchair to try and attack her service animal at Disney. It'd horrendous.

It's funny how they always cause drama. Im close to a service dog handler who never has access issues like this because they don't cause them. She's just negative about everything, and over dramatic, but she always blames someone other than herself for any of the issues. Her dog is very well trained, but lexi has changed. She was getting better at communication in the moment.. Now she just doesn't care to. I've had a boatload of injuries and had to wait 5 years for a spine surgery I needed, along with my ptsd. Omg... going on a pleasure trip is not a human right, therefore, your disability will not make it free for you to get bigger seats. If the flight was to a place where you had life saving surgery waiting, it would be a different issue. You already get to board the plane first to accommodate your needs. And dont come at me for "abelist" behaviour. I have a disability too. Ortostatism. I can faint from getting up, standing or sitting still for more than 10-30min or even from stretching in bed. I can be out for 5 seconds or up to 30 seconds. I constantly have to be moving my legs or arms to not faint if my head is above my heart.

Yes! Their behavior - speaking loudly, using the f word, bad-mouthing the flight attendants, arguing - is bound to irritate the crew. Irritate them enough and you'll get tossed off and put on a no-fly list. But then perhaps that's what she wants. It makes for more "hits" on her videos. From browsing the rest of her videos it seems like that's her routine - go somewhere, make trouble, complain about how you're being treated so unfairly or illegally and slap up a poorly made video. Even better are the videos where she complains about fake service dogs while walking her "service dog" that apparently needs an e-collar! Next time I think I'll stick to car crash videos, they're more realistic.

Okay, I am a fligh attendant and I just have to say that they are doing thier job. They wanted you moved mostly because of sefety issues. If there is an emergency they need to make sure there is nothing blocking anyone from going to the emergency exit in case of an evacuation. The dog would potentially be an obstacle in the panic and chaos for you and the middle seated passenger and it could cause the whole aisle to be blocked. Even if you fly with a baby with a baby seat, they will ask you to put the baby seat on the window seat for the same reason. In an emergency situation the evacuation has to be done in under 90 seconds. You have a large plane with hell lot of people with lets say 4-6 emergency exits that are connected with just one narrow aisle. If someting blocks one way or another, thats half od the exits done. Not even talking about the panic and chaos in these situations. They were polite and made reasonable requests for the safety of all the people aboard. If a flight attendant asks you to do something or move something, its always for a safety reason. Even if you dont see any. We are specially trained for weeks to detect thing like this, we are there mostly for safety of the plane, not the food service.
