This actually is my favorite podcast now. Your dynamic is great and the conversation flows so well. Even when there is an awkward pause, it consistently turns into something funny. I also like how the episodes are hilarious (like this one) but there are some great heartfelt moments (like when Aiden cried and was just open). I have been watching some of these multiple times! You better not quit.. unless you fight to the death

5:47 When I was studying to become a history teacher I remember one of my teachers talking about the Egyptians doing something like this. They would have scientists and astrologers and stuff looking at the sky for fun or whatever astrologers do, and they'd be able to tell that there would be a solar eclipse next month. A solar eclipse was seen by the common people as a sign of displeasure from the Gods, so that would reflect badly on the leader. So, the pharaoh would say "Alright I've ruled for long enough, it's this guy's turn now, I'm out" and a new leader would come in. Then the next month the eclipse would happen, the common people would freak out and kill the new leader, as the gods commanded, and then the original pharaoh would come back like "Ah well jeez guys, I guess the gods really want me to keep ruling you guys aha" and everything would be chill again. Also according to him once a year the pharaoh would also jack off in the high temple to continue the cycle of rebirth or whatever so the world wouldn't just stop existing at the end of the year. I've never actually fact checked any of this, so that teacher could have just been a massive memer, but either way it's funny so I choose to believe it.
