im a day one yard listener, and heres whats changed: - made an oopsie and got blocked by slime on twitter so now when a slime tweet is mentioned im late to the party - also got shingles last month, made me reminisce on aiden and his shingles - more comfortable, it feels like you have become more comfortable with making the pods - old set was awesome, but this whole set is super cool, and i think its like going from s to ss ranking

I think Slimes development arc is an impressive feat of self discovery. Being able to realize that he is a part of a platform that can have an impact on others lives outside of his own personal sphere says a lot about the way he processes things. Bravo Slime, bravo.

I've been listening to the yard since day one. I may not watch nearly as much Ludwig content as then, but I still catch every episode of the yard. The only pod I listen to. Life gets busy and serious and yall have always been a nice break from that. That part has never and I doubt will ever change even if some of you do.

1:29:54 this is called a hyperfixation! they last sometimes weeks, sometimes years, sometimes months, and you get so obsessed with something that your life basically revolves around it and then you completely absorb everything there is to absorb in that topic and you become bored, its a neurodivergent thing and happens with most adhd and autistic people, i recommend looking into it :D

I've tried two different times to get an ADHD diagnosis, the first time the nurse practitioner said I couldn't have it because I wasn't failing high school, and then the second time my doctor wanted me to get an evaluation but nobody near me accepts my insurance :) rural healthcare is great

when i first discovered the yard (end of 2021) i had finished a really stressful semester of college and all i did for like a month before school started was play ocarina of time on my computer and listen to the backlog of episodes and to this day i associate all of the episodes up to like #45 with that nice feeling of doing nothing all day and playing video games

i’ve been binge listening to the yard (and patreon) for a little over a year now. Out of other podcasts, yall have stayed pretty similar throughout, obviously with a few changes like anything. Still you guys have kept it digestible enough to listen, to where you don’t have to watch consecutively so if you miss a week you can watch the newest so without being confused about what’s being talked about. The community has also been staying pretty similar (though i am a lurker so i don’t look at that part much) and i think that really helps keep listeners over type.

I watch as much Ludwig live as I can, but I do the binge thing with the Yard. I'll miss about 5 episodes and come back a month or two later to binge them all at once. I just feel like live is such a unique and special experience. You get to see more of the reality and participate more, like in the voting, reacting, spamming, commentating, or chatters just joking amongst ourselves. You feel included in the hivemind that is chat. And, sometimes, sempai notices you. 🤩 You often see in the VODs people saying, "This was so wild live!" because you get that first wave of everyone not seeing that coming and it being a group discovery, "I was here!" moment.

I have watched every episode (besides the premos because I am broke) and me personally, I believe that the banter between the group has gotten better and also the tangents funnier.
