I offer a very simple recipe for amazingly delicious and thick apricot jam without adding thickeners. The jam turns out even more fragrant thanks to the addition of lemon juice. A pleasant sourness gives the delicacy a special taste and freshness.
This variant of fragrant sweetness is ideal for fillings in various homemade desserts, pies, cheesecakes, bagels, pies!

Cooking time: 4 hours
Cooking time: 40 min.
Number of servings: ~ 1 l
Caloric content:
Total: 4430 kcal (B- 9, W- 1, U- 1089)
Per 100 g: 214 kcal (B- 0, W- 0, U- 53)
🍡 Ingredients:
apricots (pitted) - 1 kg
sugar - 1 kg
lemon - 1/2 piece
Preparation:
1. Wash the jars and lids thoroughly with soda and sterilize in any convenient way;
2. Wash the apricots, remove the seeds;
3. Put the apricots in a saucepan, add sugar and squeeze lemon juice. You can add the pulp and zest;
4. Mix and leave for 2-3 hours, so that the fruits let the juice, were saturated with lemon and sugar;
5. Put on moderate heat and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally;
6. Increase the heat and cook for another 5-10 minutes, stirring constantly;
7. Pour the finished jam into jars, close the lids tightly and cool. Then put away for storage in a cool place.
Enjoy your meal!
P.S. Hot jam may seem quite liquid, but it will thicken when it cools down.
