@@arte0021well it all depends on what you might consider satanic and watnot. with "caveman sound" l was merely looking for a creatve way to mock all the non hipster bands because they are mostly just straight forward and simple in their approach and lack the finesse and spirituality one might find in the post atmospheric stuff, most elitists l came across are really into that shit but most of them also had a thing for raw black metal, that's true. As for satanism, l am somewhat familiar with the "lore" of it but l have no clue on the practises and beliefs of the actual religion, but there appear to be tons of different interpretations. Most self proclaimed satanists you meet today are pretty much just that, hipsters. With extra steps in the most cases, like being huge racists, xenophobes and just overall assholes due to their superiority complex. From what l heard the kind of satan worship often found in metal and other media is just a facade built by the church and hollywood and in reality it's all about becoming a superior being by the means of inner peace through denying all authority and finding your true self. Respecting nature and all that crap, preferably whilest doing a lot of drugs. Those were the people l was refering to, l have met some of them in person and they seem to be everywhere on the internet. l might have been misguided but that's the majority of elitists l had experience with.

@@flatheadgg2443 i think there might be a difference between post- and atmospheric black metal with atmospheric black metal having a nature loving spiritual/pagan theme to it which is fine with elitists unless the band happens to be leftists, since most bm elitists are right wing. With post-black metal you get stuff like Deafheaven, who legit look like a bunch of pretentious hipsters with no black metal "spirit" and have screamo elements in their music, which is a big no no to a bm elitist

Mayhem is not BM at all but they are one of the best metal bands. And we should consider the fact that most BM bands only try to sound like old records of bands like Mayhem sounded. Until today I don't know what "Industrial Black Metal" is. Could you name some bands of this genre? Maybe I listen to "Industrial Black Metal" without knowing

I think that maybe back in the day, bands like Blut Aus Nord might apply, N.K.V.D. is another. There are others out there. It's a mix of very dark atmospheric, often sound effect based, electronics, and black metal. Where the drums might sound like they're being played on metal dumpsters in an old factory instead of using a drum set. There might be random sound effects. Synths thrown in. It's on the experimental side. It can be heavy as hell or it can be atmospheric. It's a small subgenera, but a web search pulls up a few bands who fall into this subgenera. Industrial music is all about the use of incorporating "found sound" into the music into ways that it isn't meant to be used and I don't mean just making sample loops either. That's doing it easy. You have to experiment. And the thing with industrial is that many artists love to combine it with other generas because.. why not? It's shoving sounds together in experimentation. Let's see how metal sounds mixed with noise music with drums made out of the sounds car hoods slamming down and trash can lids banging together played at a really slow speed so that they sound epic and deep.... Maybe put a synth line on it... or movie samples... or just... noise... bursts of static or any random sounds you can come up with that you can.. mess up. Add this to some Black metal... see where this goes.... This would be "Industrial Black Metal" There would be... no rules other than.. make some noise, keep the guitars (probably), and keep it dark as hell.
