I have been a youth leader for 14+ years. I can guarantee that these are 100% accurate. Though some of them also came from the old youth pastor. He walked up to me once and said, "I can fit a bowling ball in my pocket. Wanna see?" Then proceeded to do so. Umm, ok.

So I just got back from camp and we made a quote book. Best idea ever! Our favorite was "Camp the place were your moved to tears but can't cry cause your dehydrated!" Lol

I literally had one of my students try and catch the skunk outside last week. Funniest story of one of my students (6th grade). He told me he had the talk with his dad this is the discourse that followed. "I finally had the talk with my dad yesterday! So now I know where babies come from! Well, I already kinda knew where they came from, but now I know where to put it. Well, I already knew where to put it, but now I am an expert!

I created a chalkboard painted wall dedicated for this stuff. Kids and volunteers alike would write down the things students would say during youth group hours in real time, and it was hilarious! Moreover, I intentionally left the stuff up all week so that the students that didn't come the previous week would see the "comment" out of context and their reactions were just as funny! Unintentionally, it created a FOMO effect.

Yo we had a skunk at our church- now I know where it came from… it was running from him🥲🥲 It ran all the way from Florida to Arkansas… maybe that’s why it died….. rip to the skunk who made our church stink for three weeks

We've got a ground hog at ours. IT WILL NOT DIE. It's been shot several times with a pellet gun, but it doesn't seem to care!!! It makes one of our pastors so mad!😂
