Those ‘99 new -‘07 classic GMs were really a good truck. Easy to take apart as well for most common things. Had an ‘04 that also was written off in ‘14 even though it looked pretty fixable. If I wasn’t working for a dealer and got a big discount on a leftover new ‘14 single cab at the time the cleanest one that body style was what I was going to go find

Good morning Randy. The 1993 GMC Sierra SLT is a good looking truck even though it's got a little damage on the passenger door and fender and a headlight. The 2016 Audi A3 is a good looking car even though it's got damage to the drivers door and fender.

Randy, that 2023 Kia Telluride is a North America only model and virtually identical to the 2023 Hyundai Palisade elsewhere. Kia is a subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Group. They used to be separate companies but Hyundai became the majority shareholder of Kia in 1998 if I remember correctly in the aftermath of the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis. It’s almost like Lincoln is part of Ford Motor Group. You are absolutely correct that Hyundai/Kia has come a long way in their cars. Good combination of Tech, Design, Comfort and a touch of luxury that’s not overkill.

Loved the cars in this video! The stepside GMC is really clean for the miles and would be perfect if you can fix the damage as well. The Audi is pretty decent and would be worth a go especially if it was cheap enough. The Trailblazers are pretty solid SUVs and I see tons of them with high mileage still running sometimes you find one like that with small issues. Shouldn't take to much to save that though. If you pick it up cheap it would be an awesome SUV. Great video Randy and hope the new year has been treating you well!

Honestly the Uber thing would be intresting. If you can try and see if you can find a Rav4 Hybrid Prime. It’s a plug in hybrid Rav4 and tbh I’ve seen those cars used in Uber and I’m guessing they’re great. I’ve driven about 3 of them and they’re pretty peppy and the fact you can drive in EV mode most of the time

I did Uber when you did it and I did it a few months ago and it’s a little worse. But with a Tesla, you get a dollar extra per ride.

GMC Stepside! Please let us know what you would flip it for with or without fixing it. I'll fly in from Connecticut and drive it home if the price is right. I'm retired $o.......$ You could drive the truck like that as is. The driver would never see it. I had a 2002 SLE with that same exact interior and I have wanted another one EXACTLY like that one for a couple of years now. Plus, it's 2wd so a lowering kit will turn that into the Sport Truck I wanted. High Mileage? Mine had 407K when I sold it, and it ran as smooth as silk. Wow! The oil pressure gauge works. ABS and Brake lights are Always on in All GM trucks from that era. Mine were on for 10 years. 4:20 Check all the exhaust manifold bolts for broken ones. If they are all good, change them out one at a time for better replacements Before they break off. 5:25 All GM truck bumpers are bent! If I was younger, knowing what I know now about earlier GM trucks, I would have a business buying up all the rust-free trucks, Tahoe's and Suburban's I could find, go through them and sell them. Once you know them, they are easy and dependable.

I have a 2008 trailblazer 3LT and it's a nice little SUV. With only 80k miles on it runs amazing no problems so far besides basic wear and tear and exhaust leak but besides that runs amazing.

I was hoping on that trail blazer. Would have been a good flip.

Hey randy I have 2 Kia tellurides one just hit 30k miles and one with 200 miles brand new they are both sx prestige package, fully loaded. Love them ginormous they are the best most midsize, luxurious SUV.

I think there's a little more to the story with that stepside... Both front fenders have mismatched paint, and the front clip is all over the place with panel alignment, bumper included. This one's probably got prior accident history. For the record, I love older GM stuff, the GMT800 included, and this stepside is badass!

I when I was ubering to work because I would rather wait for a $40 ride then bus I got a ride home in the Hyundai version. It was nicer than the Cadillac I was in that morning.

Randy I have a trailblazer that looks just like the one that you are looking at and I paid 8,700 for it and it runs really good but mine is the LTZ and it has all the bells and whistles on it and it only had 1,40000 miles on it when I got it yes I have had some problems with it like the transmission quite working but I got a aftermarket inc plan and it paid for it and I only paid 100, and mine is the same color as the one that you just looked at so don't give up on the trailblazer thay are very good car's and they go for more than you think give it a chance Charlie kretschmar Phoenix Arizona

The early 2000s GMC Sierra stepside regular cab be a mint condition daily just need a passenger side door I wouldn't worry about fender or bumper.

I'm sure someone has mentioned it. But the Kia Telluride is the same as a Hyundai Palisade. From what I've seen, most of the Telluride's and Palisades don't come with AWD but you can get them with AWD

I had a ‘98 Chevy Astro AWD with the 4.3 vortex motor and it wasn’t a bad motor. That white silverado probably has a bad crank position sensor.

WV don’t have many of any hail damaged vehicle that insurance ever deed a total loss so very hard to find that type of damage that can still be used for a daily work vehicle

Get the Audi A3! Looks like a nice deal, good tires and by the looks of it brand new brakes. The EA888 Gen3 engine is a very bulletproof and reliable engine pared with the DQ250 DSG, as long as it had all the oil changes they are really good. Also everything is original looks like it was not driven by a young teenager
