The Elegoo "Ultra" series may not have a bunch of bells and whistles compared to some printers out there, but under the hood they rock! Ball screws instead of lead screws. Elegoo also sources electronics from Chitu systems, IF I am not mistaken. This is important because Chitu systems quality, and the longevity of support. I have an O.G. anycubic Photon, I can still get replacement parts AND there's an upgrade kit available! Now I do not have the Mars 4, I have the Saturn 3 Ultra. I am looking to get one (hey Elegoo, if you read this , help a brother maker out! heh) for smaller projects, as sometimes I print miniatures for gaming clubs and the like, getting kids into the hobby! Great, Informative video! I also use the same wash and cure, except I have the upgraded one, the only difference is mine has a small U.V. light attached that is super useful for hardening spills or inside big prints. Thanks for the video!

Glad to see someone else agrees!! I was honestly very impressed. I don't regularly print minis, but I can absolutely see this printer in my studio long term if I did. You know when you get that "feel" of a quality product when you use it? This printer gave me that feeling with everything I did.

@@gkeaton9755 that's true. And something to consider is that some of the newer more advanced printers I've tested with wifi did not integrate with a slicer well or at all.

I would love to get this, but currently my printers sit in my room, i dont have a dedicated oribter room unfortunately, so a resin printer is not a the best option atm

do you have to change the alcohol every time you wash something?

I do not. I change it about once a week or two but I dont print a lot. Really only change it when it looks very dirty. So people filter it and reuse it

Uh... that's less than a thousandths of an inch. The resin is going to grow/shrink more from just thermal variation from winter to summer.
