Thanks bro I’ve been in the trade machine trying my best to cook up realistic trades that aren’t just one sided for the Warriors. I feel like the Bulls and Cavs both can benefit from this trade due to their own specific team situations

Jonas is an interesting name but it depends what his price tag is. The Warriors could use a Zubac like big man that brings size, rebounding and a defensive presence. I wish they owned their own draft pick and was in position to draft Zach Edey in the 1st round. 7’4 big man. He’s an interesting prospect. It looks like his draft range is anywhere from 15-22

@@Hollie.415 Your take on available bigs - would be cool! Jerry West liked Jonas’ game so that’s all I need to hear about him. $15M last year at 32 years of age. He can hit the three ok and his advanced stats have been very high the past 5 years or so. Love Zubac too if the Clippers don’t want him…. Lakers, Clippers, then the Warriors? Haha!

@@peteybrian I’ll cover free agent options in a video soon! The Clippers arent letting Zubac go, I was just using him as an archtype of the type of big we coiuld use. The Warriors struck gold getting a day 1 contributer in TJD in the 2nd round locked into a cheap contract for the next few seasons. And he should be even better next season after a year of experience + an offseason to improve. But the Warriors still need another big to fortify to front court. If the Warriors could only afford to get 1, would you prioritize a stretch Big, or center with size?

@@Hollie.415 I’m assuming Looney and Saric - won’t be returning. If we can dream, most Warriors fans would like a shot-blocking big man (like Zubac) who can rebound and set picks on offense - at a minimum. Who can be our next Bogut/McGee/West/Jermaine O’Neil/Zaza/Speights, etc.? A flexible stretch big would be a second priority. Is TJD our full-time starter or an excellent backup? Is Garuba roster promotable or still a two-way player (we barely saw him break a sweat, haha)? Historically, we know the Warriors haven’t put big money in the center position unless a KAT-like talent (prime Dwight Howard) becomes available. With Gabbard and PJ Washington and Lively II - all picked up within a season by Finals team Dallas - anything is possible.

@@peteybrian I think TJD is good enough to be a solid starter in this league for a long time, but ideally if we could bring in another Center worthy of starting over him that has more size and/or stretch ability, that would fortify GS’s front court.

It would suck forsure, hopefully he and the Warriors could agree on a contract that’s fair on both sides, but I’m getting more doubtful as the offseason progresses. This would be a great contingency trade in the scenario he does leave. At at this point in their careers, Lavine is an upgrade over Klay.
