The chapters (=timestamps in the desc) seem to mention the planche rather than the front lever. At least I'm glad I'm not the only one who messes up exercise names. 😅

I feel like i really need to write down how true is what abnormal beings said on the 3 front lever exercises. I was literally doing that 3 kind of exercises got me fl pretty fast and also now i'm almost on one arm front lever following the same rutine.

I believe one of the best exercises to do straight after your holds in fl is to do the same hold again but do a negative to Lsit.that will develop strength for lsit to fl entrance Because if you see those people that go in fl from lsit you know they can hold the fl comfortably and they sure have a pretty srtong fl game

Great tips, the front lever journey can be easy for some and a pain in ass for others I'm still struggling to get it I think weighted pull up and deadlifts can be helpful but the major key is the body proportions. How long did it take you to unlock it for 5s?!

Have you got the front lever yet ?
@JR123JR8
@JR123JR8 2 жыл бұрын
I’m not disagreeing with it, because I’ve heard it a hundred times, but I can’t make it make any sense. How are you stronger in the negative, if in the actual exercise you must pull enough to overcome gravity, while in the negative you just have to pull enough to allow gravity to bring you down slowly?
@tl_dragonstars2877
@tl_dragonstars2877 2 жыл бұрын
I also think so about having a minimum pulling strength but you don't need a 40 kg pull up . I can front lever and my max pull up is around 20kg. I would say having the muscle up is enough to starting training. And the best exercise for front lever ( for Beginners to achieve a clean one leg or a straddle front lever is skin of the cat).

How tall are you? Just curious to see if there is a link between height and how much you need to be able to pull up with. And what is your weight? Obviously a 60 kilo person who pull up with 20 is relatively stronger than an 80 kilo dude doing the same. Cheers

thanks guys ! 13:59 ahhh that too much is it necessary? i can only do few reps of 16kg atm its a long way to 40kg. also does chin up count? . cheers
@TheJackedVegan
@TheJackedVegan 2 жыл бұрын
Don't worry about the 40kg number this was just example! It is relative to your bodyweight the so the amount of weight you should be able to pull to do a front lever should be decent amount compared to your bodyweight, that seems to be the trend amount people who can front lever! But don't just focus on weighted pulls as the specific front lever practice is needed to learn the skill

When to train it in a week and how many times you should try to hold it?
@TheJackedVegan
@TheJackedVegan 2 жыл бұрын
personally I believe beginners 1-2 times, to allowing straight arm strength and connectives tissues to recover properly from the stress of skills while focus more on fundamentals. Once accustomed to this 2-3 times to get more volume in as a solid intermediate but it really depends on what the rest of your training split is like I'll be making a HUGE video more about this in the next month or so
