My sentiments exactly We have replaced all of em with the Metabo HPT 36V cuz it is a joy to use and weight matters day I and day out and also all above the shoulder work as well

I picked one up a couple months ago on super sale... $200 for the saw, battery and charger. Best saw in the game right now IMO. Sight line is great too.

If I was starting out all over again Metabo hpt might be the best bet. But at this point the last thing I need is another cordless tool platform! I still want one!

we run both metabo and milwaukee tools love that saw but triple hammer impact is my go to tool

These ARE very light. Looked at them recently since I have hitachi/HPT stuff. Makes me want to ditch the old Mag 77.

This is crazy my saw fell off a roof today and bent the front end of my baseplate. It still cuts perfect 90 degree and 45 but don’t know if I should get a new one? 🤔

Been using a Ryobi ONE+ HP 18V Brushless Cordless 7-1/4 in. Circular Saw from HD to rebuild my 28 year old deck. It is *6.5* pounds, 1.7 pounds lighter than the featured saw and very quiet, but does not have a rear handle or hanger. Thin kerf carbide blade is very sharp and motor cuts effortlessly. I appreciate the lightness, but not rated for weather AFAIK and I have bring it inside.

I shoved the blade changing tool in the front between the angle marks and the blade cover and it stayed there

Hi Jason, is this the saw you use for precision trimming of pvc ends before installing the skirt? I thought a smaller 4” blade would be easier to control in that specific application.

No. I use a track saw or cut with our Metabo HPT 7 1/4” CSMS

Never seen a hikoki saw that doesn't have an alan key. It has to be there!

Has it but it doesn't have a place to put it on the saw itself. It's ok I always lose mine and I have dedicated Allen key that's worth it

We have 3 and have worked em hard no issues Also MHPT has always been easy on warranty and lifetime as well

@@baseballdude8491 I just swapped it directly with ToolBarn but I have heard very good things about their warranty program. I'm running a lot of Metabo Tools these days because of the crazy sales Lowes had for a while. No joke I'm less than $1000 into 2 sawzalls, 3 impacts, 2 hammerdrills, rear handle, 3 36v sidewinders, framing nailer, 16g, 18g, 21g, flashlight, six 5.0 batteries, four 3.0 batteries, and four 8.0 batteries. Unbelievable deals.
