We WOULD have gotten a Boba game if Disney didn’t cancel 1313. I wish we lived in the timeline where all the cancelled sequels to old Star Wars games like BF3, KOTOR 3, JK3, TFU3, and Imperial Commando got made. We were eating good in the early 2000s.

I always found it weird that back in the days when extra unlockable skins were very popular during the ps2 era that Star Wars Bounty Hunter didn’t have an unlockable Boba Fett skin. Now my wish has been granted!

The name of The Slave I has never changed. LEGO decided to put the name "Boba Fett's Starship" because they thought it would be more recognizable to kids and parents, LEGO does not decide the canonicity of the Star Wars universe. In the Book of Boba Fett, Boba refers to his ship as "Firespray" because in the context of the scene in which they are retrieving his ship, it logically wouldn't make sense for him to tell someone who has no idea what his ship is or looks like that he's looking for his "Slave I". That wouldn't mean anything, if I told you I was looking for my Brad, and Brad was the name of my car, you would have absolutely no idea what the car was. Boba uses "Firespray" because it is the type of ship, something that Fennic is familiar with and able to recognize while they try to find/get it. Hope that helps.

I think the dificulty was because, back then, has kids, we sucked. I replayed this game in 2021, on the PS4 (Yes, this game is already available there, its a direct port tho) and got done with it in the same day. Not the easiest game ever, but not has bad has i remembered. I also remember struggling alot in the prision level, and never got past the final boss there, but replaying it, proved me that i was just really bad lol.

I stopped playing it as a kid because of those continues, it would take all 5 just to get to the end of the level, and the boss fight would just be infuriating, granted I was a kid- but it was a pain.

I loved this game when I was 8 and played it on GameCube. There’s no way it could’ve have been that hard since I beat it back then. I do remember some challenging parts though. Then again that and Ultimate Spider Man were like the only two games I played so maybe I just got good. Hopefully they do the remaster a good service.

Bounty Hunter is a great game. Janky, but great. I hope the price matches the content as this game is already available on PS4 for £8, so paying twice that much brings expectation when comparing to that version

I hope they add an Easy Mode like you mentioned, with unlimited lives and regenerating health. It would make the game so much better.

one thing i am REALLY hoping for is that the game might be moddable. i would LOVE to tweak the enemies in certain ways!

I’ve been hoping this game would get a remaster for years, great game following one of my favorite characters in the franchise.

Personally, the difficulty of the game is part of what makes it great for repeated playing for me. I even try to make a habit of completing levels without losing one life. I'm glad they're not gonna do any major reworks with it, 'cause a lot of the "faults" it has, particularly how the enemies are programmed and you cann literally move them across the map slyly w/o them noticing, are part of what make it so enjoyable for me

Thanks for bringing this news to me, I hadn't known about this until this video! :O This is a childhood classic for me, I always loved the Massiffs and Nexus in the game for how brutal they can be if they hit you once in most cases, even if they're plagued by buggy ai.

As well as Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight with its Mysteries Of The Sith expansion to complete the saga since we already have the other Dark For es/Jedi Knight games. And I wouldn’t mind TFU. Honestly, I don’t want them to make the game easier as screaming at your tv for this is honestly part of the charm, BUT THEY DO need to fix not being able to find a bounty after killing them. Let those bodies not despawn so we can tag them. Also make if we can move while in bounty pov so we’re not vulnerable

Yeahhh, I missed this one back in the day, and honestly I would love another bounty hunter Star Wars game, but I'm afraid it would be plagued with DLC garbo.

The game isn't broken... like, at all. It plays like how a console game should. It has its quirks and the charm of any good title from that era. Inverted camera controls were the norm at the time, and all great games from that era used it. You get used to it, but it shouldn't be much of an issue though, considering the game's dependency on lock-on aim. And God forbid a game be difficult. No, the Prison chapter is far from unfair. It's a step up from the previous chapters and that's it. You may fail to beat it and have to learn from your mistakes when you try it again. Judging by your gameplay footage, you're not firing your blasters fast enough. You can spam the shoot key with your thumb as quickly as you want, and the rate of fire on your pistols will obey you as such. Reducing the time it takes to kill the hordes you fight against will naturally make the game easier. "Unplayable", like dude c'mon, it's not rocket science. Big L there. I'm getting the sense that you didn't play the game ever, until recently. And when you did finally come around to play it, you tried to rush a playthrough in order to make this video. The game doesn't play itself, I'm afraid. I have my suspicions that you didn't even finish it. Also, Classic Collection is still a hot mess, regardless of what you said. Myself and others who regularly play the OG swbf2 version all wanted to migrate to the new version but Aspyr appears to be done with their post-launch updates despite their version still needing lots of patches. It's truly, and still, "unplayable". I don't mean to be nasty but this video is misleading and poorly informed. Hopefully nobody buys Aspyr's CC, or gets deterred from ever playing the original copy of Bounty Hunter, after watching this.

I have it for the GameCube. Good game, nothing special. Wouldn’t mind it being put on Steam, be nice to play on my Steam Deck.

They should add a small upgrade system to get Longer Flight, Recharge ability to picked up weapons, more darts and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD a freaking POWER UPGRADE for the dual pistols, it was by far the worst aspect and the main reason it was so difficult. Your main dual pistols are too weak even in the first levels. A low level enemy would go with 5 or 7 shots if i remember correctly and by the time you face the zombies at the end it was almost impossible. It was cool having to run away and hide but your fingers would hurt by the end either way.

Aspyr did horrible on the classic collection and only fixed it because of backlash. The fact that they lied about not using mods when they did is also scummy

Aspyr is a very irresponsible company. Their remaster of SW Racer was very sloppy and worse than the original 1999 release. Some graphic textures were completely missing especially on the engine thrust flames on many podracers. Only a blank dark texture was left on the flame that is coming out of the engines. On top of that the controls were sometimes either too clunky or way too responsive and couldn't be customised by the player. The Sega Dreamcast port is still the supreme version of the game.

You play it until you complete it and its not even that hard and when you do it as a kid like I was it's a special feeling why take that away

The game is simply too outdated and not really worth it. A remake could have been incredible, where bounties gave you extra credits to purchase upgrades and improve equipment.
