Personally, the difficulty of the game is part of what makes it great for repeated playing for me. I even try to make a habit of completing levels without losing one life. I'm glad they're not gonna do any major reworks with it, 'cause a lot of the "faults" it has, particularly how the enemies are programmed and you cann literally move them across the map slyly w/o them noticing, are part of what make it so enjoyable for me

The game isn't broken... like, at all. It plays like how a console game should. It has its quirks and the charm of any good title from that era. Inverted camera controls were the norm at the time, and all great games from that era used it. You get used to it, but it shouldn't be much of an issue though, considering the game's dependency on lock-on aim. And God forbid a game be difficult. No, the Prison chapter is far from unfair. It's a step up from the previous chapters and that's it. You may fail to beat it and have to learn from your mistakes when you try it again. Judging by your gameplay footage, you're not firing your blasters fast enough. You can spam the shoot key with your thumb as quickly as you want, and the rate of fire on your pistols will obey you as such. Reducing the time it takes to kill the hordes you fight against will naturally make the game easier. "Unplayable", like dude c'mon, it's not rocket science. Big L there. I'm getting the sense that you didn't play the game ever, until recently. And when you did finally come around to play it, you tried to rush a playthrough in order to make this video. The game doesn't play itself, I'm afraid. I have my suspicions that you didn't even finish it. Also, Classic Collection is still a hot mess, regardless of what you said. Myself and others who regularly play the OG swbf2 version all wanted to migrate to the new version but Aspyr appears to be done with their post-launch updates despite their version still needing lots of patches. It's truly, and still, "unplayable". I don't mean to be nasty but this video is misleading and poorly informed. Hopefully nobody buys Aspyr's CC, or gets deterred from ever playing the original copy of Bounty Hunter, after watching this.

GT monkeys are not needed, in fact GT is not needed whatsoever. Cooler, Janemba, Z Broly, Turles, Tapion, Hirudegarn - those should be of a higher priority than GT.

I'm with you dude, SSJ4 is also my favorite form. It's ironic that Toriyama had nothing to do with this this design.

This game was underrated they did what they could as far as combat with a movie tie in game 🎮 i really wish Raven studios was able to make a sequel to see what they could've really done with this game. Also they fixed a big plot hole by taking out the device that stopping this healing and brought it back that was awesome. 🎉🎉 and the blood that hits the screen when you perform any execution is great detail that i dont think ive seen in another game.

Canon or not, GT is an important part of what make's Dragon Ball what it is today. It needs to be in. All these Gen Alpha and younger Gen Z and fans skipping over it entirely is whatever, that's their choice, but it doesn't mean it should be skipped.

This is going to be my final comment on GT’s base game inclusion until we know every character that’s in the base game. I absolutely get everybody’s desire for GT to be in the game on day 1. Honestly, it would be an absolute bummer if an entire era of Dragon Ball (including OG) got locked behind a DLC that, as you mentioned earlier, could be delisted a long while down the line as the console generations pass. The fact that the original Budokai (Tenkaichi) trilogies are locked behind price gouged scalpers on old ass consoles that are still way too expensive is unfortunate and brings genuine concern for the previously mentioned fears. However, I also understand if the devs had to make disappointing compromises in order to release the game alongside Daima’s premier. It’s possible that this was actually meant to be a 2025 game with all 4 (now 5) eras of Dragon Ball. At many points they had opportunities to reveal GT and movie characters. Z Gogeta and Janemba could’ve been revealed in the “Swords vs Fists” trailer. GT Goku and Uub could’ve been revealed in the “Master and Apprentice” trailer. GT Goku could’ve also been revealed in the “Eternal Rivals” trailer with GT Vegeta. And if we’re talking about marketability, the saying is that “newer sells better”. This is true, and people have argued that GT wouldn’t sell as well as DLC as much as it would help sell the base game. That would make sense, except it ignores two important points: 1. GT still sells very well as DLC. Its designs alone are a huge selling point and fan favorites like SSJ4 Gogeta can make a DLCs success skyrocket (look at FighterZ). 2. Because newer material sells better, why would GT get the “last trailer before launch” treatment? What is so special about GT’s inclusion that would warrant not only a whole special trailer tailor made for it but also keeping its inclusion secret right until the launch trailer? It seems contradictory to say that GT isn’t relevant enough to make a successful DLC while also saying that it’s special enough to break all of the established rules of the marketing for the game so far. By glorifying its inclusion in the base game, we only really justify in Bandai’s mind that it would succeed as DLC… which it would.

I hope they add an Easy Mode like you mentioned, with unlimited lives and regenerating health. It would make the game so much better.

This game was so underrated. One of my all time favourites. The regeneration mechanic on Wolverine is excellent, and the combat is extremely satisfying.

Overall I can't disagree with you. I am not at all against DLC, for example Shadow Of The Erdtree for Elden Ring, which adds a large part of the game more than 2 years after the release. But what is not normal is in fact blocking certain characters already developed using an additional purchase. But it is not the case here ? Sparking Zero has 164 characters at launch, and as we can see from the announcement they are regularly updating the game and further improving it to be ready for October. So the DLCs are not supposed to be in the base game, we are in a case where they are simply characters who will arrive later because they are not yet finished, like Elden Ring. And for DBGT, am I upset that GT isn't in the base game? (if that is the case); yes, but wouldn't we ask too much from a video game? a little bit too. We're already at 164 characters and the game can't be developed for 10 years without making money, that's not how the video game industry works. So they had to make a choice, DBGT or DBS. And obviously they will choose DBS. It's DB's work which is the most recent and still in progress, and if they had chosen DBGT instead, you would have made the same video to say "it's not okay we don't have DBS" So it's logical that it's not in the base game, and obviously they're very happy to be able to release a $30 DLC later to add DBGT. But in reality instead of criticizing the economic model of the game and its DLC releases, it would be better to look at everything they implemented for the base game, and compare with others like DB FighterZ or Xenoverse, and that we should already be happy.

They honestly should include evolution content as a joke. It's a really amusing part of the legacy of this franchise.
