It's gotta be something deep rooted in the architecture because I use this controller on my Wii U thanks to Bloopair and Homebrew and it just works. For the N64 virtual console everything works as it should without any sort of calibrating or remapping

I suspect the mapping can be changed the way I did it with my Power A Wireless Controller, I synced it with my mayflash, the Switch then sees it as a Pro Controller ... remap away 👍

Here's a tip. Remap the R stick to jump and the C buttons can be used as the jump buttons when you play Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It makes a difference, right?

I do love Mario 64 and I have fond memories of playing. But I also have very bad memories. I used to throw the worst tantrums cause it was my first video game. I didn't realise they would have annoying hard parts. I totally fucked up my first grey controller...

you playing the first castle is exactly how I played it with the stupid wide turns on the first red coin, running off the stage on fire, calling myself stupid, and last but not least dying at 7/8 red coins. This game is very tense! It's like you took futage of me playing ... and I didn't even record it

I always thought the N64 controller looked like some sort of 3 pronged sex toy, and now that the Nintendo Switch one is wireless with built in rumble that only makes the thought of it more clear to me, but with all jokes aside, it's a wacky but still functional and controller that oddly just melts into my hands and just feels good to use playing games like Super Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time

The controller & camera system ruined what could have been a great game. Most N64 games suffer tremendously because they're filtered through that garbage controller design.
