Can't believe that someone would comment like that. I really enjoy your channel. I have the Rolex 15000 OP, it was my first Rolex and can never fathom selling it. The Rolex, my Omega 1965 birthyear watch, and my recently acquired Must de Cartier are my forever watches. When I told my 11 year old daughter that I would pass these on to her she jokingly said that she would put them on Ebay! Keep up the great content!

I love my 1500 date. Wear it all the time and it does wear larger than the 34mm. It does wear well on a leather strap.

I have a 1500 waiting to be rebuilt. I quite literally found the damn thing on the ground. I thought it was fake, then I got the back off and it was real. Real dirty, it needs a cleaning, possibly several, a new dial and crystal and a good hard polish for the case. I can attest that it looks great on a strap, it was on an ersatz President when I found it, the end pieces had scratched most of the serial between the lugs off. So I removed that and put it on a nice 19mm Brown buffalo strap.

I love that watch. That's THE watch to have. Date complication, unassuming, Rolex quality and tough as nails (not Casio nails, but Swiss nails which are more refined mind you). Enjoy.

I put mine on EBay just two days ago. I removed It after someone pointed out that I’d listed it as a date just. I had, but it was an honest mistake. I literally didn’t know the difference. Your video made me realize I should keep it. The watch keeps much better time than my modern Seiko, and I love the fact that it’s only worth maybe $1500 $1500 wouldn’t even get me through a day, so who cares. I love the watch, so I’ll just keep it and love it.

Comment on watches that I will never give away. 1. I have a lot of respect for people who work hard, are loyal, and receive a nice retirement watch. Many times the watches are engraved on the back . . which greatly reduces their value. Part of my collection is 6 retirement watches which are minimalistic, quartz and 50 to 70 years old. They are in beautiful condition with new leather straps. Price with new straps? Under $100 each. 2. In the 1950s, the mark of success was a Bulova watch. I can afford to buy a few Rolex watches. I think that they are great. However, last December I purchased a Bulova businessman's watch that resembled the minimalist watches of 70 years ago for under $100. It was a treat to myself. I have more expensive watches that I don't wear.

Honestly, many people who have watch review channels on YT are biased bit you are certainly not one of them. Honorable mentions are also The Mad Watch Collector and Jody from Just One More Watch. I like whrn a successful person wears a 40€ casio one day and 15k€ Rolex on another day and I like when someone is able to rant about expensive watches as muuh as they rant about affordable ones. There is one single time I did not agree with you tho, it was when you made a video about the new Seiko 5 line. I still believe they are good watches for the money and not necessarily an SKX replacement.

The only other Rolex model I like is the no date Sub but that is way overpriced for what you get (yes the OP is also overpriced but not to the same level).
