Moredakkamus lol, quest literally did nothing. he only used it once and he only needed +2 attack for lethal. aka, the same amount of damage that steady shot would have done. Unseal the Vault has the same issue as Activate the Obelisk. Both decks are better if you take out the quest and change no other cards.

@@sssslliissllimisloms I mean that is not a fair argument because of course the quest isn't going to shine against aggro because as mid-range you just have to survive, the quest is meant for helping win against control. And in that game the quest meant Trump had to trade late in the game

@@sssslliissllimisloms You are using a control/finisher as an excuse for agro. The point is that you can curve more minions then get a huge savage roar out to kill your enemy, or buff your minions to take the board easier. The 'quest' isnt better if you take out the quest, you are making a fundamentally different deck. To play 'quest' you need to USE the quest. You cant say this is a better quest deck if you dont even HAVE it. Its like saying my control warrior is a better freeze shaman with out a freeze cards. They are two different things completely.

Trump! Help me out, here! I'm desperately trying to make a Shaman deck work where the end combo is Oondasta into Octosari then play Chef Nomi followed by Shudderwock (assuming my opponent clears the first board with Nomi). But my deck seems to have way too many big cards. I tried throwing in Countess Ashmore to force the draw and add archivist Elyssiana to protect me from fatigue, but I feel that may be way too much value. Any way you could try to make this deck work? With more context: Going for Quest Shaman, unsure whether I go also Highlander because I feel like I need more pressure... but not enough cards :/

3:06 Misplay on their side, he should have summoned the locusts first, traded 3 locust in, then the cult master. They get 3 more cards and it's still a full board clear. They sacrificed 3 card draw for an extra 1/1 on the board, which could have been their goal, but not one I agree with.

I think when people get too into the meta they forget how powerful the quest rewards can be. Mage and hunter both have fantastic rewards, they're just harder to activate by turn 5 like everyone else. But if you can keep a game prolonged, you'll just inadvertently achieve it. Except for warrior his kinda sucks.

@@notarealperson8956 It's not hard to get, I just think the reward is pretty lame in comparison to the other classes. Sure you can get 8/10 in stats out with your power every turn but at what cost? And 2 4/5 minions with no abilities aren't really that strong... and they're avoidable. If the 2nd one you made per turn could have taunt then I'd consider it on par with the other rewards.

The main problem just is: Midrange is insanely hard to make work these days, and the quest Warrior basically needs to be a midrange deck. Midrange decks are so hard to make work, cause they are essentially jack-fo-all-trades decks. Would be fine in and of itself, if other decks didn't all do something borderline absurd and unbeatable for a "fair" midrange deck.

Been playing this deck and having fun with it but it's a strictly worse version of Highlander Zoolock. Whatever it does well Zoolock does better and it gets crushed by Zoo.

I think he takes to little advantage of the upgraded hero power to justify running a singelton deck. The only reason is zephrys. Why he would built a singelton aggro deck is beyond me

He went from 271 legend to 313 legend (or maybe a little better, he didn't show the final rank after the shaman match) with a 56% winrate. I'm sure it's not bad, but this deck doesn't seem good at legend with the results Trump obtained.

why did he pick the mage hero power instead of the warlock draw a card hero power? He is an aggro deck what he really needs is card draw because all the cards he isn't going to draw, realistically do more damage than that 2 damage hero power.

you can't beat quest hunter lategame, so you must push for tempo. 2 mana 2 damage isn't better than Leeroy or 1 mana +3 attack buff, but there is not a whole bunch of cards you can smash into opponents face instantly, while upgraded mage hero power can give you really good burst potential even if you will fall out on board (which is kinda likely against quest hunter after turn 6-7). The only reason hunter did win is because he got Zilliax against aggro deck.

you couldn't be more wrong about that. That hunter deck is specifically built to control the board with an insane amount of rushers. Trump had to do all the face damage he could early on otherwise he would be overwhelmed by the locust swarm and unleash the hounds.
