Apparently victim blaming is a huge issue in Japan, it happens even when for example, someone who's a victim of bullying told on their bully and got them in trouble Especially if the bully is someone popular or had good grades Families of the bullies would blame the victim of the bullying for ruining their kid's future even tho that kid was making the victim's life hell or could've possibly drove them to suicide Tho that's from what I've read or seen online when they cover such cases, it's a common thing that's present in most of them

Now can we just not see Japan as this perfect country?? It's just as shady as any country possible.The fact their law justice has so much loopholes allowing criminals to be free. For example,Issei Sagawa the infamous cannibal killer is not only free but also a celebrity icon,and using his victim's death as his whole merch.
@elosaybonjour4250
@elosaybonjour4250 Жыл бұрын
For the case of Issei Sagawa this is different. He was judged non-responsible of his acts by psychiatrists in france (murder happened here). When transfered in Japan, psychiatrist thought he was conscious and need to be judged again. However because of previous "sentence" in France, it was against International Right to make him go to court in Japan. So i's more international right loophole here. But yeah the fact he was treated like a mediocre celebrity with the consultant thing on serial killer case later is awful.

japan has always had a no respect for women when it comes to stalking and sexual crimes, like the one that raped, killed, and ATE a woman in france and returned but never got charged cause of a loophole and is still celebrated TODAY. like i don't care if there was a legal loophole or whatever, someone needs to put people like that CANNIBAL RAPIST in prison no matter what! it's up to women to get that done because when have people on top ever just gave other's power? no, it has to be taken

@@elosaybonjour4250 You should research what kind of horrid shit goes in Japan unpunished on a frequent basis, op is definitely right on it being a bad place. In fact to keep the visage of a peaceful great place a LOT of suffering needs to happen which is backed by social norms, culture and law. Plus the fact he's a semi celebrity should raise a few flags with you, weird it doesn't - basically it's due to the Japanese anti definition law which prevents you from speaking badly of a man (or group, or corporation) and ruin their 'good name', EVEN IF THEY WHERE OFFICIALLY FOUND GUILTY! The result? You get criminals who get away, ending up in the spotlight, and since you can't be directly negative, they end up with a mostly positive image. Japan is a very, VERY fucked up place, the more of their history, law and culture you know of, the more you understand just how bad it is. I started off as an anime and culture loving weeb, buy now I know very well Japan is one of the worst cultures out there.

Junko’s case is why I wish people like Dexter Morgan exist to hunt these monsters down. It’s sickening how these boys made a innocent girl go through literal hell beyond anyone’s imagination for *44* days and even then she still gets disrespected as not only did the boys only gotten a pretty short prison time for a horrific crime like that, but also one of the boy’s mother vandalized her grave because “she ruined her son’s life” while one of the boy’s dad made a sex doll literally based on Junko. Out of any case I’ve seen, I never seen a case like this that gets me disgusted and also enraged at the same time. And what gets me even more mad is that Junko actually would of been saved if the Police actually checked everything in the house. Hopefully karma gets them what’s coming.

There is this news in my country about this student in college paternity, in order to join the paternity or brotherhood you will enter an initiation, the initiation compose of beating you with a wood or something, i didn't know exactly what it is their using but this student can't handle the initiation, he died while he's in the middle of it, the members of the paternity decided to cement him to the ground to hide his body, what sad about this is that his brother is waiting for him to graduate college so he can a have job but it break his heart knowing that he is dead before he can even graduate.

The funny thing about karma is that we don't fully understand it. Although karma means "action" and is a consequence of that... whose to say karma returns to us in this lifetime? One of the criminal boys actually cried about his actions... “I am so angry at myself for being stupid enough to accidentally reveal my own crime.” He actually said this. This boy was like Issei Sagawa level of evil, later proudly proclaiming the “fun” he had while torturing Junko. That’s what he reminds me of. To clarify: While studying in Paris in 1981, Sagawa liked a dutch woman taller than him (his fetish, she was 178cm and he was 145cm) and so he took a gun and shot her head off and started to violate her corpse and eat it too. This was a huge news all over Europe back then and Asians were collectively suspected of wanting to eat white women. (Records show he was going to eat a German woman studying in Japan 10 years prior, but they just thought he was in her room for rape, not cannibalism and they gave the victim money to acquit her accusation). Then he got scott free pleading insanity, and when he got back in Japan he became a millionaire selling his book about the experience. The Japanese publisher was thrilled to have the rights to this book, and the Japanese populace bought it in droves. Not even other cannibals around the world publicly paraded their crimes in oublic, and tried to make money off of it. This is what set Sagawa apart from others.

I am Japanese. I believe that this terrible incident must be passed down to posterity. The regret of the victims and their bereaved families is immeasurable. It is a shameful fact that the perpetrators of this incident are now living in our country without much punishment under the Juvenile Law. People from overseas say that "Japanese people are kind," but the penalties for criminals are just as kind. In Japan, there is still a strong belief that 'it is beautiful for the victim to endure in silence,' and overwhelmingly, the perpetrator gains for what the victim loses. (Among other things, the crime of sexual crimes is light.)

The poor girl was raped so badly that her vaginal canal was mutilated and even showed cig burns on her vagina as well… she was beaten into submission and than raped repeatedly than after their gang friend found what they done left and was disgusted even punching the face in of the guy who presented this to him. The 5th guy went and walked away never visited the 4 of them again expressing his disgust he couldn’t express enough of them. She survives at the end, an attacker was remorseful, they added a twin, etc. All things that weren't the case with the real story. And did the author even mention the real life event at all or that that this manga was based off of it? Even though it obviously is, if he didn't mention it and changed up the story like this then I don't get how any of this is disrespectful. The author is under no obligation to write his story exactly the same way it happened, he's writing a fictional story taking real life events as inspiration. The author did nothing wrong. I'm really not sure whether you want to dig into it.....since not only many of them walked away anonymously (given alias like Boy A, Boy B to inform the public, etc.) after all the clamaties they've done, many of them have reconducted crimes later on...

There's a manga that's based on a murderer, created by said murderer. The manga is called "Sagawa-san," and it's created by Issei Sagawa. It's about the time where he met a woman in France during the 80s, and he decides to kill her. The manga is also very graphic, as it also contains subjects like cannibalism and n3cr0phi1i4. Since Sagawa killed her, he was sent back to Japan, and was sentenced to prison for 2 years, and he still roams free in that country.

Something Aki didn’t mention and that is not clearly mentioned on Wikipedia was that these boys had a connection to the yakuza that were protecting them and they made junko call her house to tell them that she is safe and that she has escaped to live with her new boyfriend, they threatened that if she didn’t do that, the yakuza would murder her entire family, she was naive and agreed. Her father on hearing this, stopped searching for her, didn’t inform the police of her location even though he knew where she was and he cut her off for the shameless act of escaping to live with her boyfriend, neighbours kept telling the family what they think was going on but her family was like she deserves it for escaping. When the police actually showed up that one time that aki mentioned, it was the neighbours who called them, not her parents even though they knew her whereabouts all that time. When, she was finally found, the yakuza had a hand in their easy sentencing along with the laid back attitude of her parents. Her parents are probably rotting in hell now, experiencing every single form of torture imaginable.

You know, the first manga COULD work if it was a case of showing what happens when peer pressure leads to people giving in to their worst desires. Like maybe at first a few of them don’t want to do this but the more they do it the crueler they get because they keep getting praised by their friends and their darker impulses keep being fed. It could work as a warning against that kind of behavior. Maybe even against bystander syndrome. But you would really have to show that a few of them REALLY didn’t want to do it at first or were really horrified and it’s only after a long time so they start to break and turn into worse people.

One of them was even arrested for attempted murder in 2018! It's so blatantly obvious none of them learned from it and will gladly keep committing crimes. There's only one out of the four that hasn't been arrested since he got out of prison for what he did to Junko. But for all we know, he just hasn't gotten caught. It'd take a miracle to reform someone after doing something like this with no remorse.

Not saying they shoulf be in prison forvlife nassesery, but at least under through psychiatric criminal and given a chance to reform, anx being in process conftonted and forced to, and that they are let off only if they really throughly arenz a danger to anyone anymore. And not let off till then . Also psychological reflecting forced is really reallymore reforming and punishment.

I've read about her case for the first time in 9gag, yes 9gag.. several years ago and I remember feeling sick to my stomach and angry at the same time after reading what they did to her. I can't believe they just let the people who tortured her walk free. I hate that none of the are remorseful and continued to commit crimes after. They should've been kept in jail for life. Also I can't believe that the mother of one of those boys blamed Junko for ruining her son's life. That's some next level idiocy. Her son just killed someone and she blames the victim, typical Japan...

Apparently she wanted to be an idol singer. I really wished that we could've seen a world where she got to live out that dream and take the stage. I feel as though this video was very distasteful and Junko’s case was not handled in a respectful manner, I understand that adding in a sponsor would help make profit off of the video because yt would demonetize it but the vibe of the video was so happy go lucky and made the case seem so down played, the things she went through were horrific and terrible. I also understand that this video was made a yeah ago and he would most likely have made this video differently now a days but still, it just feels off putting.
@angelmendez-rivera351
@angelmendez-rivera351 Жыл бұрын
The problem with "I want compensate for demonetization" is that this is just one video of many that Joey produces. There isn't really an excuse to try to have sponsors on this video to make a profit, when he can do that on all the other videos. This video should've been dedicated to, say, collecting funds for charity and organizations dedicated to combatting this nonsense, not personal profit. If this was like a thing where every video he makes was like this one, then maybe that'd be a different situation. But that's not the case at all.

I read the manga, both. The first one you were talking about seemed to be similar to the story i think the main character shouldn't have been portrayed as "the villain with a sad back story". It is very different, but i think the story is more of a "the original story but if it had a good ending". The second was alot more revealing to everything that happened, after looking in the comments of the manga i saw it was shocking someone said "why does this turn me on" she was raped and murdered?! Please keep it to yourself + the men the 4 men that killed and raped her are breathing alive still that's not right they are walking around the city free?!! Its not okay im sorry
