Күн бұрынToday we go look at The Tsurinoya Elf Ajing a LONG BFS rod that is available on Aliexpress so that you can target Bass, Trout, Perch, Squid and all the other predatory ultralight species on some great value for money gear. If you are new to BFS fishing (bait finesse system) and you don't know what the best reel and rod is for you then this channel is a great starting point. We will look at some favourites such as the Seasir Cast X, Soloking Acura, Kingdom Micro Monster, Tsurinoya Dark Wolf Ultra, Purelure Silver Feather and the Cormorant.

Was looking at this for a longer flats/beach rod for casting Squid jigs and metals/heavier blades.

This might just be the perfect rod. Only other one I would probably suggest is one I don't have yet but will hopefully get in the near future. It's the Tsurinoya Fox Hunting which comes in 7'11 and has what might be a more ergonomic butt section for those 2 handed bombs!

I have been looking at this rod along with the Pure Lure. Glad you said the difference with the weights of the lures and actions. I got the BFS Elf reel and it would pair nicely with both of those rods I would think.

Both are good, zero is faster and will cast lighter, this is moderate fast action and better at casting a little heavier. If you can't decide get the shorter elf! The 7'5 I believe. That should bridge the gap.

Yes that's the good thing about it, suits a few different styles I do. Like at the beach I was throwing plastics on 1/8 or 1/6 heads and had the squid follow...boom.

You should see the Purelure Zero, some guys throw under 1g in then including a comp bream angler in WA Liam.

It’s a Ajing rod but should be good for BFS because so is the Zero there’s some things on this rod I like more than the Zero but there’s some things I like more on the Zero. Kinda a toss up!

To me they serve different purposes. The Zero is faster and more sensitive and can cast lighter. This rod almost isn't an ajing rod, the 7'5 version is alot more similar to the zero. I think this is better for 5-9g whereas the zero better for sub 5.

Hey man I check out both video of this rod and the purelure zero, which would you say is the best for multi-species fishing? I live in the states so I mainly targeting LMB, white bass, panfish, trout, and some hybrid white bass(5 lb). I mainly throw out 1/16-1/4 oz jigs and fish open waters.

It’s hard to say because different soevies or techniques may suit one or the other rod. If I was to keep it simple the zero is faster and has more backbone whereas the 7’5 elf ajing is a moderate fast action. If you don’t know what suits you best just choose what you like the look of. Both are quality rods. Also check the Tsurinoya fox hunting.

@@yep.fishingdang I might aim for the zero than! Since I already have a UL rod. I mean I wouldn’t mind fighting on UL, I just wish to have a UL with a bit backbone for big finicky fish. Though the zero looks uncomfortable to hold over time. How would you rate the comfort of it?

@@Zz-id5qp I like it for comfort over the elf. I can cast it one handed if I have to. 2 handed casts the butt design on the zero is better, the elf grip is tiny. Both are a bit tip heavy so maybe on the retrieve grip up a little higher so you can grip nearer the balance point.

This Elf is built different! I think perhaps the trout series was released first and then off the back of that the Ajing versions were released. I might be wrong though.

No definitely no, you are talking about a rod with a slow action that will bend like a banana. This is a moderate fast action
