No, no. The pain is past. Her pelvis is fixed, she's much happier. Did you see her when she got into the car?? She was smiling, happy with her new owners, getting kisses and reassurance, enjoying her new life. She will do fine. Greyhounds have beautiful eyes.

Shreyas Kulkarni I couldn't agree more. Physical pain is bad enough, but you could see emotional pain, and mistrust, in Ruby's eyes at the start. She was apprehensive when she first met her new "family" but it's obvious they will give her the life and love she deserves. I wouldn't want to stop kissing and cuddling her! She's such a beautiful, gentle, soul.

Idiotic imbaciles that's who. After all, they are out there hunting. How much love or respect can you have for any animal if you can hunt and kill them. That piece of crap could have turned her over to someone who would want and care for her, instead of breaking her hip and treating her horribly. I see no reason at all for someone to hurt an animal when they are finished using them. I also think hunting EVERWHERE should be abolushed. I hope his turn is next, the next time he goes hunting and he comed back with much more than a nrojen hip. Who was that guy anyway? Was/is there no way to prosecute him? This girl is a Spanish galga. All of my greyhounds were lively from the beginning. Nervous as any dog in a new home, but after that happy as can be.

My rescue Dobie was 4 when we adopted her. It took a few years but she has blossomed into the most fully self realized creature. So free to be herself. We are so blessed to participate in this joy !
