What a day! Or, morning I should say.
It was my first time back on the water in over a month and it certainly didn't disappoint.
The Opelu bite was a bit slower than I had hoped, but, it turned out that two was all I needed. After catching a couple in the morning, I trolled around the ledges looking for action. It didn't take long before I hooked up on a 200g jig from JI Fishing Co. and shortly after that, both Opelu got crushed.
My fish bag was full by 9:00 and couldn't hold anything else. I wanted to stay but I made the decision to head back in and ensure my fish was well taken care of. Besides, what I had caught was plenty enough for my family and friends.
I ended the day with a nice Yellow Spot Papio, Shibi, and Aku.
