Actually 🤓☝️ we have seen Sukuna's Domain Expansion before. He used it against the Finger bearer. Sukuna's domain is the first domain expansion we have seen in the series

@@emargold yeah...for a series chock full intricate explanations, Jujutsu Kaisen has some terrible English translations. It's true for the manga, anime and eng dub. I wouldn't blame you for misunderstanding some things, it's the translators fault.

everything about that mappa situation is just tragic and crazy. but speakin on their work under pressure and barely having time off, they truly outdone themselves. great creators under bad conditions. i hope they strike or something to get things changed! thanks for the awesome reaction as always ashe!

Nice Reaction! and Respect the animators for this high-quality animation under that brutal conditions! FYI : Malevolent Kitchen = Malevolent shrine (I think translation team was changed) - it's bcs Kanji name of Sukuna's domain can be translated either way sry for my bad english lol

I can argree, translation need to be same as Season 1. but it's based on Japanese language which has multiple meaning(especially Kanji part). so I can't agree it's wacky translations. for example : Toji said "Yokata na" right before he ended in last episode. in that situation, "Yokata" can be translated into "it's good for you not go to Zen'in Clan" or "i'm glad u still have Fushiguro name" or just means "it's good to know u r my son" etc.. and as a manga reader, I think "Kitchen" would be more accurate at some point. I can't explain why, bcs it can be Nano spoiler.

"makora" it's a wrong translation btw, the name of that thing is mahoraga, "malevolent kitchen" is wrong too ☠ it's supposed to be "malevolent shrine"

they played this song couse for the incident arc Yuji IS HIS SPECIAL, a guy who goes thro all madness and trauma, at this point the destiny is just laught at him with this song❤‍🔥💔

I think it was less "look at what i can do itadori", it was more, "hey brat, look what keeping you alive lead to😂😂" And playing the song at the end was basically sukuna laughing at yujis pain in the moment

Some corrections on the translations since it seems to be a trend lately: Malevolent Kitchen = Malevolent Shrine Fillet = Cleave Dissect = Dismantle Makora = Mahoraga

Nah it's Makora in the Kanji but Mahoraga is the original sanskrit name.

While the music does ruin the emotion of the scene, its actually fitting. Cause if you read the eng lyrics for SPECIALZ you can tell its Sukuna making a mockery out of Itadori's pain

If it ruins the emotion of the scene it doesn't become fitting because well the lyrics though in my opinion. We know Sukuna is making of mockery out of Itadori's pain he made that clear seconds before. It just comes across as oh look at this deep thing we did its good and not at all forced and unfitting of the moment. Its a faux deep gimmick more than an actual meaningful addition to me

just a correction Sukuna's Domain Expansion is a radius of 140 meters, so the area is circular if you want from one edge to other is a total of 280 meters, sorry for bad english

I feel that's the norm in Japan. "Overwork your employees because they're lucky to work for us" mentality is disgusting. I heard stuff from many many studios of leadership simply ignoring problems, people overworking to a point of never going home... That's why I'm not watching anime as often anymore.

Just because the staff has bad working conditions, that does not make the animation better. Even one of the animators said that this was a 3/10 animation.

A lot of people make that mistake. Believing that the animation is somehow good because they didn't have enough time to complete it. The same excuses were used with AoT season 4. More of a coping mechanism and trying too hard to be nice when the actual studio does not care about comments saying if it's good or not.

Its worth a shot but also worth nothing in my experience Japanese companies don't really seem to care much about what people outside the country think. You can vote with your wallet but they seem to be culturally resistant to the idea just overall. It could work but its going to take extra boycotting basically.

I noticed something fishy going on with *the last episode. I'm used to the attention being on the fights but, you can see where they're being strained. Thanks for bringing up the working conditions though, I don't keep up with the studios like I should.

Yeah the subtitles on this one are annoying: Malevolent Shrine* Mahoraga* His two slashes are called “Cleave” and “Dismantle.” The domain doesn’t just randomly attack everything, those were the conditions set by Sukuna for this particular moment. Cleave targeting everything with cursed energy, Dismantle targeting everything without.

First, the translation is trash. The domain name is Malevolent Shrine. The two attacks are Dismantle and Cleave The creature is called Mohoraga, not Makora. And for the fire arrow, we are 242 chapters deep and we don't know what sukuna's technique is even called.
