So here's a bit of lore on Stolas: According to the grimoire Lesser Key of Solomon which is a real book about demons, Stolas is the 36th Spirit of the Ars Goetia(basically a group comprised of seventy two demons with exemplary strength and their own legions) and a Great Prince of Hell, commanding twenty-six legions of demons. His duties and skills are described consistently across the Goetia, Pseudomonarchia Daemonum, and the Dictionnaire Infernal, and describe Stolas as bearing superlative knowledge of astronomy, the value of precious stones, and the effectiveness of herbs or poisonous plants. He will impart that knowledge to those who summon him. You will actually see these elements come into play in the next episode actually. He is depicted as either being a crowned owl with long legs, a raven, or a man. His black raven is his demon form while his "angelic" form is that of a winged man with dark curly hair and blue eyes. Stolas is one of the few rare demons that is pacifistic. He is not fond of fighting, finding the notion of wars and battles to be fruitless and pointless. His only real involvements in terms of 'conflict' was during the War in Heaven and aiding Lucifer's forces by guiding them to the appropriate destinations via the stars and to determine the exact location of an object via examining the mineral that surrounds it. Stolas finds comfort in his line work for according to him there is always something new to discover unlike war which is consistent and stays the same. He is fond of learning new developments and wants to expand his knowledge of what is out there in the universe instead of fighting in battles that will contribute to nothing except more battles to come. His pacifistic nature is noted by even Dante who does not consider him a threat and leaves him be despite the fact that Stolas is a very dangerous demon, regardless.

ok so 2 things, 1: now that you've watched the episode, watch it again starting at the scene where imp's see Martha in the living room and just look around at the room, specifically at the lamp post and picture frames, that alone should give some hints right off the swing lol. 2: yes Stolas is an owl lol but also (stating this because i haven't seen the :O expression yet), the voice actor who plays Moxie, is the same voice actor who plays Zim from invader zim and Billy from the grim adventures of billy and Mandy. I think it's implied that Martha seduces most or all of her family's victims... In that montage of people calling her a hero she has sex with another dude that's not her husband again and I can assume he was another victim. Miss mayberry may have killed her husband for cheating but she may have saved him from a worse fate before still dying. Once he was a target of that family he was always going to die. But he probably would have been eaten and tortured if not for her

Stolas is an owl, part of Ars Gotia family. You could say they are demons that focusing on stars. Kinda big deal

Moxie and Millie are a great couple and characters in this show. But my favorite is still Stolas. Fun Fact: Stolas, or Stolos, is actually based on an actual Daemon from the Gehena/Goetia lore from the 1500's. He is a fallen angel and a Daemon Prince over the domain of astronomy, divination, botany (knowledge of plants) and geology/precious minerals (which in turn made him good with transmuation). He has a love for knowledge and is the deamon in ancient deamonology that actually likes humans. As long as you treat him respectfully. Alchemists in ancient times used to worship him and tried making pacts due to his knowledge about precious stones and transmutation. Now just because he liked humans, doesn't mean he wouldn't screw people over. I mean, it's a deamon afterall. Stolas is also often depicted as some sort of bird like creature, either a raven or an owl. But apparently he also could take the form of a man, just to blend in. Only reason I know this is because, well, I like reading books and came across a book about deamonology. xD It was a deep rabbit hole.
