Bro I'm disabled and I feel the same way. I'm stuck inside a lot and you take me with you on adventures that I just can't do, especially the rocks lol but at the same time, I can still do more getting out and doing cool stuff like that. So when I'm healed up myself here, I'm gonna make a point to get out and fish. I live in BC I have no excuse!!! Cheers bud, glad you're feeling better!

This video was a pretty good summary of everything I like about this channel and why I've been subbed for so long. The picturesque views, the sound of those waves crashing against the rocks, and of course an absolute clinic on how you don't need big bucks or flashy technology to land a fish. Of course, there aren't many anglers out there with the wit and skill comparable to Matts because he makes it look so easy. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

My son and I have been watching for a while, you were the one that got us out at the lake 3 yes ago. Now my youngest goes with us, it gets us away from the electronics and out in nature. Thank you for being on here. As for injuries, I discovered KT tape when I pulled my Achilles, if you've never used it, maybe give it a try. If it's on right, it's fantastic and helps with the stress on your joints and tendons. Good Luck man!

Another awesome video, Matt. I like your commentary. I have been surf fishing since I was 18 when I was a younger man, just like you climbing on those cliffs hunting the big ones. 68 years old, I know that feeling having bad hip, knee and retiring 6 years ago I still try to get out there either to freshwater or the surf I know my limits now. I take off still to decompress from the everyday life more recently. I was scouting out some fishing spots from San Simeon to Oceano found some easy access spots so this old guy can still throw out a hook. My best friends Uncle said was Its Fishing Not Catching this was about 40 years ago. Matt Stay Safe, Stay Healthy, Stay Strong. P.S. When I started fishing, gasoline was 22 cents a gallon.
