I'm in the UK and don't use any tick or flea treatments on my dogs. I have never found any fleas on either of my dogs, and check my dogs for ticks after every walk. The only time I gave my boys a Bravecto tablet was when we were going on holiday to an area of Scotland prolific in ticks. One dog had no reaction to the pill, but the other started trembling uncontrollably within minutes of having the pill. Thankfully he recovered! This video makes so much sense, thanks guys!

I wish vets would ALL get on the same page. You're supposed to be doing what is in the best interest of our pets. My vet told me to keep my dogs on these products all year round now. I know of other people whose vet told them the same thing. Who do we believe! I'm so frustrated.

Never give this meds to your dog. I had a dog perfectly healthy and after a visit to the vet, trusting the vet, I gave simparica to Rocco. My 10 years companion. My dog developed bloating, lethargy, muscle loss, diarrhea, vomiting, loss of appetite and at the end, loss of life. There's nothing that is going to make me think it wasn't that pill. I wish I hadnt trust the vet so much. Do not make the same mistake. Rocco passed away on November 8th, 2021. I'll miss you Rocco!

We have 11 dogs that we are currently training and there has never been a single event. The clinical studies are far more accurate than non control information like this doctor references. It is such a disservice to dog owners. My house dog has taken it for years and she is 14 years old. Blood panels are perfect.

My experience one week ago. I had to travel abroad from Canada. I told my vet that, to be able to take the flight. my Shih poo was required to be dewormed. I told her not to give her a pill that includes fleas/ticks treatments. She literally rolled her eyes and said with a very upset voice: ‘Okeyyyyy’.

As a behavior professional...I have clients tell me about reactions to flea and tick products, I ask did you tell your veterinarian? All say no, I encourage them to do so.

I wasn't giving my puppy any medication after I picked him up from the breeder. Although I was treating his coat with healing oils and boosted his immune system. However, I sent his stools to the laboratory on the 18th September and the lab report said he had one larva of fox lungworm. The vet then prescribed two products. NexGard Spectra to be given monthly for three months, plus one tablet of Milbemax Dog. So far, he has only had one of each, although I have been feeding him home made treats with extra nutrients to help him to defend his body.

Credelio has caused permanent neurological damage in my cat after 1 dose he had 6 months ago. This was diagnosed by a neurologist, 2 internal medicine specialist, and our regular vet. Its very real.

Doc, many of us don't have all day to watch an infomercial. I'm already 3:11 into the video and so far you have not started passing along the info the video purports to offer. If you have important info, get to it!

Nexgard made one of my dogs VERY SICK. He would get seizures, and was cranky and *on edge*, I thought he was just a crabby dog, got him off this crap and he became sweet and nice again after about 2 months off this poison.

First doses were ok more or less.... The dog was just a bit lethargic and tired but always recovered after two or three days. However the November dose really hit him hard. He had two minor seizures, stopped eating, and he was so weak he couldn't even jump on the bed. Luckily now he's fully recovered but took him over two weeks and we had to take him to the vet. From now on just citronella spray and we'll be extremely cautious where to take him for his walks.

@Rodney Habib thanks for the information. Do you have some suggestions/recommendations as to how we can prevent and treat the fleas/ticks naturally? Also, heart worm preventatives such as heartgard also have seizures/convulsions as a side effect; are there suggestions for coming off heartgard as well? Thank You.

I would love some clarification! I just downloaded the hacks to detox flea and tick chemicals. Are we supposed to give all five of these supplements all at once or Stick with one or the other? Ex: use curcumin only or curcumin and glutathione or use curcumin, glutathione, broccoli sprouts, GABA and milk thistle all together?

I use grass grubx and other fertilizers that kill fleas on my lawn, plus hose off the deck most days. Keep the bedding clean, wash and brush dogs often. Don't use anything for fleas and all is great with my 3 indoor dogs.

we use "Tickless" a small electronic device we put on her collar. We used it for the first time last summer. Seemed to do well. Is this a good option? Original owner of our girl gave her Bravecto, but I heard terrible things about this medication!

I reported a vet to the State a while ago and I havent heard anything from them which is sad.

My Rat Terrier had serious seizures from nexgard 5 years ago. He is now 20 and 95% blind. For the last 2 years he has stopped eating can food so I cook for him.👍

You just don't put systemic pesticides INSIDE a pet. You treat the outside with known safe chemicals and baths. Simple as that.

Rubbing organic coconut oil all over my dog has helped us with fleas together with lots of vacuuming, washing or sun airing bedding every couple of days and giving 1/4 tsp fresh garlic every day. I mix the garlic with 1/2 tsp honey.❤. This doesn't kill fleas but reduces them. I also dig through my dog's fur and pick the fleas. She is white so fleas are fairly easy to spot.

So what can I use. My dog gets fleas. She's 80 lb great Dane lab mix. She's having reactions. But having the fleas and chewing and scratching is awful for her as well. I don't know what to do.

What are the alternative options?! When I first adopted my dog I gave her the preventatives and she had tremors and never again I gave it to her. But now we live in area where there’s a tons of fleas and ticks everywhere what are my options? I have been pulling them off of her. Vet keeps telling me to give her the meds but I’m terrified in giving it to her due to her past history. I’ve been putting coconut oil all over her and it helps kill the bugs but she’s not fun to pet and her fur picks up a lot of dirt. I’m sure she’s uncomfortable too. Unfortunately in my area most vet clinics are now putting profits first and pushing for these meds to be administrated year around when 4/12 months the ground is frozen and covered with snow more often than not. You can not rely on them to tell you what is better based on your geographic location.

I’m Australian and live in a paralysis tick area. I have lost one dog to paralysis tick and had two paralysed dogs saved at great expense ( not that the money is the worry. Rather the death of the dog). So our dogs are on preventative medication as death can be so quick with these ticks. What is your view on this Rodney? I have LOTS of ticks, mostly in Spring, and can find 6-10 on me after cutting grass. We are surrounded by woods with lots of wildlife. Fleas and heartworms are also very common here in North Georgia. What is best for my dog?

my dog had a reaction from flea and tick. We washed it off that helped greatly, but it was already in his system. What do you say we should do for heartworm it is a real concern. I don’t know which road to take with natural products I’ve always use naturalalternative medicine for my dog, but I do not know what to do about heartworm

I do not use these poisons on my dogs. All I hear from my Vet is about the studies the studies the studies!! Well 8 years ago I just stopped using all flea and tick products after coming across articles of deaths and seizures to animals who were otherwise healthy. Asking my Vet about this, her answer floored me… she said that studies show low numbers of serious side effects but having diseases caused by ticks or fleas is much harder to cure…and can be deadly..Affects can last a lifetime..not good enough as an answer from a professional..it only made me research further… upon reading many articles shocked by her answer immediately I refused to use them ever again. My dog was diagnosed with anaplasma. I was told it is serious and cannot be cured..Mind you he was on those poisons when diagnosed. I was baffled. If a tick cannot transmit disease unless attached 24 to 48 hours how is this possible?? Not to mention I give them thorough body checks every time they go out..I never saw one flea or tick on them. I heard from my Vet it could have attached them died and fell off. No sorry. There was no tick. And disease takes longer to transmit.. I was told he had to be on 30 day course of antibiotics. Apparently this disease showed up in his bloodwork. After he completed the antibiotics she said she will not recheck his blood because of the high numbers of false positives. She will recheck in a year. I had to wait to see results. Well with the next blood work there was no sign of the disease… yet I’d still have to watch for long term affects. What the hell did that mean.. I lived in fear thinking he was sick. Many years later.. he is fine and they both have been off all these poisons for 6-8 years. They are fine and never found any on them during their body checks. I am on top of this daily. My neighbors dog suffered with seizures and eventually died from kidney failure believed to be caused by her religiously using pesticides on her lab…think common sense…you are slowly poisoning your pet to toxic levels that poisoning is certain. Giving these pesticides to your pets require rubber gloves…. Washing hands thoroughly.. using the liquid drops on neck.. says to let dry and not to allow dog to reach it.. it burns..it smells so bad. And how do you keep them from scratching My poor boy ran around like crazy trying to get away from it… he couldn’t it was on him. For all the years my boys are well and thriving. Do not use any of them. Even though they say improved with little side effects. Long term use is deadly and in some cases some animals have immediate side effects even death…. There are holistic ways to kill fleas and ticks but still do your research. They to may be harmful…to this day and my boys will be 15 I pray I have not caused them irreversible harm. Most Vets push pesticides in their training. It does not mean they are right Same as with vaccines! Don’t ever be at their mercy.

Hello! My dog has wounds due to excessive scratching! I administered nexgard spectra. My dog is still scratching after two days. My question, how many days do i see improvement or should i say my dog will no longer scratching much? Thanks!

I just got a product that " has no chemicals " it is herbal and they have some how gotten them into a collar like the Seresto that lasts 8 months. It's by Wagges do you know if this is safe? It is working well and I have noticed that the mosquitoes stay away also.

How do I prevent heartworm without using chemicals?

Several years ago, i dosed my shih tzu w/bravecto. Her sweet nature disappeared, her behavior changed. fortunately, it did not last long. I called the vet and was told Mikey was probably not used to this particular medicine. I did not believe that answer, was concerned about my Mikey. I dumped the poison and never gave her any "treatments" again. I now have a new rescue. she is 7-8y/o, and there is not much history on her. I have not dosed her w/any chemicals. I started feeding her human food. The new vet suggested royal canin?, as she has gained weight. i do not want to give her canned anything. r there holistic flea treatments available? where can i get info on how much to feed this little doggie? i am so grateful, I serendipitously came across your channel a few days ago. I am so confused, I wish I don't need to give any of these to my babies, but I am also worried about all the other parasites that the Nexgard Spectra covers. We have not had any side effects so far. The video mentions that the Flea and Thick Treatments (topical or Chewable) do not prevent diseases. So why do we feed them then? I thought it would prevent Tick paralysing disease. I read a that giving your pet brewers yeast tablets were good for fleas. please do not do this unless you do research. I did this when I first got my dog he loved them and fleas were under control.

Is there a way to REPEL ticks from attaching? All I can find is essential oil recipes and those are not based on science, just a lifestyle choice. EOs can be dangerous to pets.

Last summer my heelers became paralyzed on her back end. She was scared poor girl. So was I. Took her to the vet. They said probably a tick. We did find a small tick in her ear we pulled off. They gave her a tick pill said if it was the tic, her paralysis would go away. Sure enough it did within a day. I was using frontline but my mom just put on her 100# dog. The dog is drinking excessive and throwing up. I tried to wash it off with a bath and we got some charcoal down her. Not sure I can trust a vet

It may be that the huge increase in autism in children could be from use of topicals on dogs that is poisoning toddlers or affecting development in the womb through the mother. Could be that the dramatic rise in depression in kids could be due to exposure to these neurotoxins over time. Nobody knows
