11:55 No Keylogger needed it simply tries to read what's currently in the Clipboard/RAM and tries to Match it with the String "i hate this game". 17:37 The Programm/Game fires an Event when minimizing/maximizing same if the game/programm loses focus because you switched to your internet browser that way the game can catch the triggered event and pause the game when it looses focus so the player dosn't get punished if another program just takes the focus away.

With the copy the phrase level i'm think there is a windows function that stores what you have in your control c clip board, so its probably as simple as making a call for that function then checking it against a string with the phrase in.

How it can tell these things: - Every application has access to the clipboard - it just periodically checks to see that the right string is on the clipboard. - The directory, that's either the directory from which the game was launched, or the current active directory in something or other. I don't know enough about windows for that one. - Being minimised, it simply checks for when the window doesn't have focus (again, a thing that every application can theoretically do - this is why many games pause when you alt+tab from them). I think that's it for weirdness in this game? Anyway, point is that it's not actually crazy, it's just unexpected trickery :)

How it knows is probably not a keylogger. It probably just checks the contents of your clipboard for a string containing the phrase.

Its only as if a game could somehow know whats on your clipboard, or if it gets minimized, etc. P.S. it can also tell if you click out of the window or if you close the game
