Night Terror creator here! You'll find no surprise in hearing that I have been admitted to a mental facility, once as a minor and once as an adult. "Everything is everywhere" refers to the overstimulation i went through when I was experiencing Tardive Dyskinesia and Torticollis due to a medication mixup. However, I understand the ridiculousness of that line without its context. Thanks for roasting me Rudy! No joke, I died laughing at your last comment due to how poignant it was.

The end of the Jumar one made me want to learn how to scream… really admirable! I like the mashup of spoken word, singing, and screaming, too. Really liked the Catalan Endeavor track. Might seem off the wall to most people, but I was in bands during the mid 2000's metalcore, screamo, math era. I can't stand that cookie monster screaming thing. I wont dignified it by calling it singing..it's insulting to real singers everywhere who have worked hard on learning to actually sing. To play the human voice as a instrument isn't easy. You don't just get to call yourself a singer. You have to earn that title..just like to be a guitar player, you have to be able to play a guitar. Call yourself a drummer you got to be able to keep time. You can't just start bashing away at the drums, you have to learn how the kick bass drum works with the snare drum..again you have to know this or you are not a drummer. Then what makes anyone think that just screaming in a microphone is singing? Bhhhhaaaaa is not a note in any key. It's not only insulting to real singers, but it's not very fair to the other members of the band, who actually spent time practicing and learning their instrument. Years of dedication to be able to use a instrument to express themselves. The singer of a band is no different, their instrument is their voice, you don't get to just scream into a microphone and call yourself a singer. You have to be able to actually sing..that means you understand key, pitch and timing. Not everyone can do it. The one biggest mistake almost all young bands make is they let one of their friends sing for their band. Someone with little or no talent aka "the screamer" they fail to know the importance of the singers job. The singer is the main focal point of the bands sound and performance. You can have a fantastic guitar player a drummer, but if the singer sucks, Then the whole band sucks. So young bands don't let one of your buddies sing, just because no one else wants to it..you better of with no singer, then a screamer..all a screamer "screams" is that the band is amateur and sounds just like every other who cant play..the audience is judging the whole band by the one guy in the band that has no talent, he just screams, if that's the case why even tune your guitar strings?..it's real singer is a musician. A screamer is NOT a musician..A screamer is a wanna be. a screamer is to be pitifully human being. Someone who craves attention, but, has no talent or just too lazy to learn what it takes to actually make music.

Yeah where's the powerful singers. I want to hear something a deep and a little raspy on these types of choruses for a change. There's so few powerful clean singers in metal, there's plenty of great growlers, which is great but overall I haven't heard any new vocals that impress me for a long time. Even Will Ramos is just a spectacle to me. He's incredible at what he does, but the music means nothing to me.

Holy Smokes kinda reminds me of STP and Red Vox a bit, which is good, very commendable. But the song itself, I feel, is not found anywhere, it feels like a loop, not like a progression: the intensity doesn't change throughout, the lyrics are all repetitious, it's spinning its wheels. I guess you could say it's like a drunk pickup truck driver stuck in a ditch: he's spinning wheels without a car in the world, while the tires wear thin, the gas runs dry, and the car drinks deeper and deeper into the ground.
