Any time you defeat a night elf, especially while inside of their base as they're tapping out their moonwells make sure to let chat know that YOU are solely responsible for moonwells being nerfed! Why address only one problem when you can address both? The main problem in NE vs UD is the 9 minutes frenzy timing. Why not address that instead of reverting the moon well changes that affect every other race?

UD has never been in the spotlight until around 1.30 where they address some major Undead weaknesses like the vulnerability of their acolytes or their lack of capability to expand. Even then, we basically only have 2 UD players who are consistently at the top, Happy and eero

You can't nerf NE early game heal mechanic without giving an alternative. There is no good alternative to moonwell healing. So just nerfing it without providing any alternative to get healing, just leaves NE with nothing.

Hey Grubby do you have a video explaining how that click with attack button (red arrows) works, why make clicks on the ground with it, and the decision making thoughts behind it?

It's called "attack-move" - the selected unit(s) will move to the clicked position while attacking any hostile unit(s) they encounter on the way

Also if you don't know WHY he does it let me explain it's very simple. when you auto attack a unit/hero your unit start to move only when the target is out of reach, therefore if you move towards the target right after the attack, you" don't create that distance if you only auto attacked. It works better with ranged hero but you should also do it with melee heroes because every hero has an "animation casting time attack " and you can cancel it by moving. that's why it's called attack-move.

I couldn't read the stats well at the end because of quality but didn't it say that NE negative matchup vs UD was still a higher win % then orcs negative stat against elf? So ...Why is this other guy mad? His worst matchup is still stronger than other races worst matchup. And then he goes mass dryads and he wonders why he loses.

Grubby was accused by this player of some things in other online posts and videos. Grubby was accused of being a reason why Night Elf was nerfed. Why Orc is (according to RazorMoon) the best Race. And of having influenced other game design choices in Warcraft 3. I believe Grubby is entitled to some discord on the issues this person has with him. Since RazerMoon has gone on record in public spaces about them.

I thought his attack at 9:25 was much worse. He had smaller army, and so close to Grubby's base, and he wasn't playing the very food efficient army like talons. This fight set him quite far behind, which was probably the main reason he could not level up his heroes quickly. The 13 minute push was bad, but that's understandable as he probably had a false sense of superiority after pushing back Grubby.

@@dark3031 Yep, the 9:30 attack was the issue. Lost bunch of dryads, lost a hero, had to drink lot of his moonwell juice, orc was allowed to expand, didnt loose much and could go creeping.

@@VH1___ This. I am an Orc player and I also play random and try to be fair, but playing against Elf as Orc is *extremely* frustrating. It's the one matchup in WC3 where one race has *all8 the advantages over the other. When I play random and get Elf and play Vs Orc, my win rate is 80% and I have less than 100 total games as Elf. With my Orc main Vs Elf, my win rate is literally half of that at 40%. It's just an infuriating matchup. Even a gentleman like Grubby is hard pressed to keep it classy when you lose over and over to players that are less skilled than you and you completely outplay them, but they still win anyway.

Even tavern hero works. Talons work. Mass fearies cheese even work. Kotg dh warden work. Dryads mass work. Mountain giants. Bears anyway. Really no unit left which cant be played. They can mass exe. They can heal for free with wells. As if bears dmg and roar is not enough each bear is a 2nd moonwell aswell. Talons fearie fire duration works years. U see them for an imbalanced time. We could continue this endless

Like u say u are beating some scrubs, mate my offrace orc is 2k mmr and im beating top50elo elfs including one in this video, while hes 300 or more mmr than my orc lol i feel orcs dont use their brain at all because in right hands orc is way more imba this mu

isn't it the moonwells and that they can fast expand? + creep with ancient of war, and so on... the druids can literally stun your units for a long period of time with cyclones

@@michalvrabec454 creeping with ancient of war literally brings NE at the same creeping speed as HU and UD. Imo its harder to creep with AOW than with an army of ghouls and skeletons or with militia, and you can't produce units while you do it, and if you lose AOW to a simple creep jack , you can't produce units anymore until t2. Moon wells are there bc wisps are literally the most fragile unit in the game, and NE has no other healing options except for rejuv which can be dispelled.

Elves USED to be OP when Blizzard buffed Moonwells. Moonwells were never nerfed, they were just returned to their previous power before the buff. Now people are crying because Elves aren't OP anymore. Elves really are the hardest race to play, so it's understandable that anyone other than top players will struggle with them. Instead of trying to buff Moonwells or all these other ridiculous plans Blizzard should just make Elf easier to play. Otherwise all these Elf mains are just going to keep crying because they will never see their MMR rise like it did when Moonwells were buffed lol.

@@Vesdus Elf is actually the easiest race to play. The 2 hardest races to play are Orc and UD, and you can clearly see that that Orc and UD players have not only the highest APM, but are the ones that grill ladder the most. Soin, FoCus, Happy and Xlrod are the players with the most games on ladder. The only Elf player that hits ladder hard is Kaho. Saying that Elf is the hardest race to play is ridiculous. It is the easiest race by far and that is not even debatable. Everybody agrees with that. If you think playing elf is hard, try playing Orc triple hero Blademaster(first)/grunts/raiders/kodos and see how that works for you. Even a 300 APM is not enough to control that army properly.

I have been watching grubby from like 2009, and being salty or toxic is a huuge difference. Discussing with an opponent, throwing some cheap insults with nothing personal, was totally acceptable and you even meme around it On the other hand, league toxicity is on another lvl, because they flame your teammates, hoping that they play worse, and if not, they ll make sure by them playing way worse and forcing you to lose. Today its like everyone got a radar always on trying to spot something wrong to attack or question that other person actions/attitudes. Some salt will be always part of gaming, and you need to be able to enjoy/ignore when needed!. Toxicity has a way different meaning and impact lol

More trash talking content please, Grub. In all fairness to RazzorMoon, the matchup of Elf Vs UD is imbalanced in favor of UD. Moon at the Raraland Grandfinal clearly outplayed Happy and deserved to win. On one game, Moon had expansion *and* a 20 food army advantage *and* killed both of Happy's heroes, and Happy still won anyway. That is 100% BS. Moon clearly outplayed Happy in that series, won 3 maps(when other Elves struggle to take just 1 map from him), but in the end the sheer strength of UD hero-nuking and frenzied ghouls proved too much. Where RazzorMoon got it wrong is to blame the moon well nerf for it. The moon well nerf was 100% needed because Elf is simply too oppressive against Orc at tier 1. Even with berserker strength and 1/2 armor upgrade, grunts get killed at range easily by archers with no upgrades at the cost of 145 for each archer. Keeper entangle level 1 for minimum mana takes 75% of the HP points of an upgraded grunt. Elf AOW creeps *and* expands *and* harrasses *and* creeps, all at once. What they should have done instead is to nerf ghoul frenzy and the destroyer, UD has the 2 best units in alll of WC3. Ghouls are way too fast, do way too much DPS for their low cost and how fast you can build them. Destroyer is a flying ranged unit that is tanky and dispells magic

Man what happened to Grubby here... Isn't he usually very respectful to his opponents regardless of disagreements? Not gonna lie, kinda lost some respect from me here. I mean I know he's human and this is very rare for him, but still it wasn't a great look to jump straight into unprovoked insults, even if he was merely sinking to the other guy's level based on something he said on reddit. Bears kinda struggle against this unless you have quite a lot of them. Nets and purge are good against them, kodos can easily eat them while netted and so on. So you would need a bunch. NE built only one unit cause there isnt much synergy in NE unlike in all 3 remaining races. If you go huntress, you mass and rush with them, same with archers except few for the opening, if you go talons once again you mass them (and since the nerf you just dont do it). There is simply no reason to include those units in your armies. So you go dryads or bears or dryads and bears. And there isnt that much synergy between the two. So NE seems to be carried by now nerfed moonwells, orb of venom, nice staff to save units and refresh heroes midfight with staff of T and the safest gold mines against harass + the ability to easily expand and ability to even move your main late game for that additional expansion. Meanwhile ORC army was always about synergy and nice composition, grunts do damage and tank but need nets from raiders who cant take damage well so you need grunts, you need purge as well, doctors in late game are nice for vision, kodos give very nice aura so you wanna run 2 and so on.

Coz bears is a different strategy. You have to choose fast t3 bears without expo or expo without t3. You can't do both because of lack of wood and timing.

I thought this game was horrible. NE should have had the upper hand cuz they had so many dryads and Grubby had spellcasters, but instead the DPS directed at the NE heroes was so high they just kept dying. Also I know why he did just dryads and not bears - because going bears now is just asking to have all your resources wasted the second they die to the current counter. I just don't know anymore about Night Elves - the race isn't fun to play anymore and there is so much that needs to go back to the drawing board if it is going to have any future...

yeah but he is supposed to be that strong, orcs specialty is that they are physically the strongest, no? and i don't think BM is overpowered so i think it's good

Strong, but takes a lot in micro and decision making to be effective. Has to keep taking risks that will kill him if you get it wrong. And with the voodoo lounge might be the most expensive hero in the game to work with

Yeah, such a ridiculous hero, being able to deplete the opponent's mana, creep quickly with AoE damage, and have a passive which greatly increase the survivability of an already durable hero. Not to mention the ultimate being able to deal huge amount of area damage in a duration

Bm is good right now only because of illusions' buff. It' a really strong change imo. But if you play without illusions bm is a way weaker than he was before. And I'm not even an orc player.

RazzorMOON is a good dude and he is right, Blizzard does listen to Grubby and has no business doing so cuz hes just a face now regarding W3 and the worst of it is that he is a biased loud one with very little true insight these days .. Be better man!

Imagine enemy has long load and cant see what his opponent plays and you trick him. How cheap and bad. And the most awkward thing is how you try to find excuses about that low behavior of yours. Since when grubby has got this cringe?
