If he wouldve used it right and not just eyeballed it probably wouldve been better. He put the jig on the opposite side of where he was cutting. So he had to use his own force to try and keep the saw on track. Had he just set the bar of the saw on the jig all he had to do was let the work.

What do use to finish top post after cutting? Wood treatment Diesel Tar Oil Or nothing because you are long gone.

@@brookelord3448 my point is if you are good with a saw and carful it would last years if you are rammy and impatient like me it may only last a few posts before the jig begins to shrink.

This old elderly man will tell you the time you spend to make a proper jig whether it is rough carpentry or find furniture it is time well spent to do something repetitive to get a proper result time was spent
