instead of this cat and mouse game..they could simply make a new feature which will ban specific troop or spell or both...and lets other average player have fun with such troops or spells....this fix would be feasible for clan wars an cwl only

Everyone wants the game to be just hard enough that they can 3 star, but no one with any less skill then them lol. Of course the pros want it to be harder, but umm this is a game for people to have fun, not supposed to be a career.

I feel the highest level in any game ought to be the hardest. Most of the player base is stuck at ths 12-14. Small % of players are at 16, so why make it so easy? The lower ths where most everybody is at is already easy enough. I'm bored with our wars being perfect all the time. A perfect war used to mean something, now it's just expected.

It should be a bit harder to 3star. BUT, the BIGGEST problem is the TYPE of attack this slow meta encourages. Spamming should never be the most effective attack. They need to go back to defense stopping 3stars and not time. So people can do 1 part at a time attacks. Like longer queen walks and use a seige on another section, etc etc. They need to demotivate spam. Like how the eagle only activates after a queen walk. Much more of that. An eagle and TH that can kill spam itself wouldn't be bad either. That's kind of what we had before.

I think the game is fine right now for the average player. But at the same time, I do agree that something needs to change in the esports scene. I don't think it is root riders that is breaking the game, it is hero equipment. There are tournaments that banned RR and even then teams were consistently getting 14 or 15 stars (just at a slower pace). A good place to start would b to ban RR and certain equipment (Giant Gauntlet, Healing Tome & Haste Vial are the most egregious imo). Another solution would be to implement a toggle in friendly wars that caps hero equipment at level 15 or even 12. That way, you cannot 3 star an entire base using only heroes and dropping 0 housing space of troops (yes, this has really happened).

Little note saying Klaus "isn't afraid to pull punches" means he holds back or pulls his punches, normally you say someone DOESN'T pull any punches to mean they're ruthless 😂😂 just figured I point that out since I had a lil chuckle when I heard it in the video

my idea for a simple way with pro-mode: troops, heroes and spell levels are capped and can be different levels (eg RR max is lvl1, bowler max is lvl6, wizard max is lvl11, rage is lvl5, etc.. ) this way you can have switch in-game and able to practice with it without breaking the game

i think its also cause of the hero's, the hero's are super OP, wich is fun but maybe not that balanced

I think Klaus needs to put a sock in it, In reality I think that upgrading heroes and everything else for that level you are in should always yield close results to 3 stars. especially with ClanCastle troops and siege. given time and money spent. Ok, I respect the fact that he is different from all players, I get that but if everyone was at his lvl, he'll be nothing more than chalkdust. The majority of players out there right now are the ones keeping the game alive and engaging as ever. My suggestion is limit the amount of RR's for competitions maybe 1 or 2, after all, they are pro players and they can figure it out.

Klaus can pound sand. There are precious few outside of the "pro" players that use the wacked out troop combinations that they do. While 95% or more of the players were exhausted and definitely frustrated with the "Oh, gee, look- I just got another two star" or "Yay! Another 99% attack!" the pros just whine about how easy everything is. I was one of those that was VERY vocal on the in-game comms regarding how frustrating the game had become and I was on life support when it came to game play during TH15, just barely limping along. Root riders have made the game fun for me, even after SC balanced/nerfed them. SC doesn't make money off of pros, they make money off of working stiffs like me who have been playing since the beginning. So I say Klaus and the rest can go play with themselves in their own arena and leave the rest of us out of their tantrums.

Easiest solution is to just buff defenses, but what the game really needs is a revamp on base design. The walls could get some new features like built in traps, not necessarily dealing damage but slowing/stunning troops. They could also touch on the layout of the warbase map itself, it's been square and stale forever. Put some obstructions in there aside from just walls, add a mote and draw bridge, maybe take a page out of Clan Capital's book, put some barriers in there that troops have to deviate around. There are many interesting ways they could go about it, just nerfing troops into oblivion is boring.

The issue is the delusion of the pro players. Klaus talking about "... Before there is no one left" like most of the player base and money spinners are pro players. Most of the money comes from casuals and content creators who make content for casuals. The casuals are at the foundation of the games income stream. Take them out, and the game collapses. That being said, they should just introduce a ban system for tournaments. If you tell the participants that they can't use RR or giant Gauntlet, they'll have to actually think about how to attack bases again

NO! Pro mode is the most REDICULOUS idea there is. It means there are two different games. Prople are only happy 3starring because it USED TO BE HARD SO IT NOW FEELS LIKE AN ACCOMPLISHMENT! It's only temporarily satisfying. It's unbelievable to me how many people dont understand the concept of TEMPORARY. The game is unsustainable like this. Once people 3star constantly for too long and become bored of 3starring you can't then make it hard again because then the failing expected easy 3stars are frustrating and then don't even feel like an accomplishment! That will just annoy everyone and they will stop playing. MAKE 3STARRING HARDER AGAIN NOW WHILE IT STILL FEELS LIKE AN ACCOMPLISHMENT! Not too much harder, but spam should only 2star, and multistage attacks should have an advantage and time to do it. Pros SHOULD 3star practically every attack. But with QUALITY careful attacks. Very good players should 3star 80%. Spammers almost never. Speed up troops for time, make splash defenses MUCH stronger. Eagle and th should be devistating. Add more mechanisms like how eagle waits to activate until after certain mumber of troops deployed. That mechanism encourages qw or ks miltistage attacks. We need many many more mechanisms like that. DESIGN THE GAME! Encourage good attacking. Thats how games work! They are designed with various motivators to encourage certain behaviors over others. Stop rewarding spam!

Just increase the damages of specific defenses by say 10% and that should do the trick….personally I love incorporating a few RRs in my army but I can see how it’s too easy…I’ve gotten 100% my last say 15 attacks lol

Hoping a pro mode comes out sometime soon. The pros complain about it being easy, the casuals complain that the pros are complaining. I will say, casuals typically forget that all of these metas are discovered by the pros. They love watching them, love learning from them, but complain when the pros want it harder 🤦‍♂️. Balance is the key, and that hasnt been the case at th15 or 16.

I finsihed top 7000 last season and i only get 3 starred 2 or 3 times a day and my clanmates rarely ever get a 3 star. However the attacks can get a bit boring

A "Pro mode" or whatever is the obvious answer, to me... There is literally no other way to solve the meta. Aside from designing your base, CoC is completely PvE, not PvP. Every PvE game, played competitively in any way, is always about speed running. PvP games on the other hand automatically scale for pros because they're playing against other pros, which is definitely not the case for CoC. You're playing against NPC buildings which for better or worse, are exactly the same for everyone of all skill levels, so supercell would be crazy to balance them to favor only a small fraction of the most elite players. Add👏a👏pro👏mode👏 😂

Except root riders everything else is nicely balanced (archer blimp too). I have tried electro dragons lavaloon hogs super hogs dragons hybrid nothing gives sure three. Maybe a 40% hit rate at best for normal players. Its when root riders are added hit rate goes up like 60-70% like full root riders or super bowler/super witch with root rider etc. with root riders the base is without walls and no way they could be stopped. The level of bs devs propagate by saying th16 is made easy to three star as a conscious decision, then do it with all troops atleast it will be fun to use diff troops rather than this monotonous root riders spam.jus boring as hell

There still needs a balance change, root riders still crush bases, only heroes and 0 army camp usage to 3 star, the past TH12 triples against semi maxed TH16s.

Pros can cry all they want. Pros make up less than 1% of the overall clash community. What really matters is if the majority of players are having fun and being more active. I can’t speak for everyone but to me it does seem like there has been more activity overall… Supercell makes more money and players enjoy the game. Win/win.

Yeah, it’s getting old hearing everyone whine about the game being too easy. I play in a clan of a bunch of dads. We are all th16, but usually only a couple three stars a war. Definitely not coming down to time. So while it’s easy for the top 1%. It feels a bit easier but more enjoyable than th15. Definitely tired of hearing all the calls for more nerfs. Feels like majority complaining are top 1%.

Stop complaining galadon get use to the current meta or stop playing.

Top players have always complained like this. 10 years ago they said rip supercell. I can tell you supercell and clash of clans wont die anytime soon despite what some minority group of players say. There’s always a new group lined up to replace them anyways.
