Half a million of Brits change our bed linen just three times a year. Yet there is a group of Britons who wage a constant war on dirt and order. This brand new series follows Brits who - by their own admission - are so obsessed with cleaning they can't relax if there is a spot on a tap or a rain mark on the windows!
In our first episode, we meet Christopher who hasn't cleaned his house since moving in, a total of 15 years! His cottage is now overwhelmed by years worth of collectibles and contains so much dirt, he lives off takeaway sandwiches. We also meet Richard who after suffering with depression, has let his flat become a disgrace. His flat is so dirty, his parents refuse to see him!

@@DarkbutNotsinisterThere’s actually about 70 UK episodes of How Clean is Your House altogether. I’m recording them one by one at the moment and have about 40 done so far. Once I have got the rest, I will be uploading them all as complete seasons to my Archive page. Just incase your interested, the links will be posted on my channel community page in the future after uploading.

@@alphatube9338 So glad they will be full episodes. I’m finally able to see the channel in the US! I know they did some shows in the US. They are awful. One big commercial. I use the old-fashion stuff when I can. The British Battle axe knows her stuff!

Watching people say they are so concerned for their health and afraid of germs, then using dangerous amounts of bleach and mixing chemicals together willy-nilly to "boost" there effectiveness is horrific. Someone needs to sit them down and explain basic chemistry to them so they don't harm themselves or others. Instead of mixing cleaning chemicals, use different cleaning products one at a time and rinse fully with water between. They will be both more effective and safe!

The amount of VOCs these OCD cleaners release into their Homes is frightening, thar poor dog walking on a floor that's been washed with Bleach, Fabric Softener and then washing up liquid , I'd need a Respiratory mask to live there, both of these are bad , somewhere in the middle is ideal.

I've been watching these episodes, and I keep wondering how many obsessive compulsive cleaners have pain disorders. Because it seems like they wouldn't be able to clean ALL DAY if they did. I wonder what happens to them psychologically, if they become physically unable to clean. I've heard some hoarders say "I was OCD" before they got injured or depressed. It really is a lot of work to clean all day!!!!!!

I think that these cleaners need to learn a thing or two from Sustainable Solutions advocates so we not only have clean homes - but also have homes that are prudent to the survival of the human race - which involves not using bottles and bottles of bleach, poisoning our water tanks, consuming plastics that stay in our oceans and end up in our food. Its great to clean up - but i wish they would show a more ethical and sustainable way of doing it. All I see here is consumerism and a need for some sort of control through any means possible… on both sides…. the problem with humanity and our society today. Not actually solving the root cause of either problems… Don’t get me wrong this house and others are awful and not liveable… but there is a better way of doing things and promoting things

How can anyone not clean for 15 years, pure filth !!! I get it that OCD is an illness but so is being filthy …. Somewhere in the middle of both conditions is perfect !! I get that Michelle is using a huge amount of products and mixing which is dangerous but the situation is critical … x at least use a mask as dangerous for her lungs and could become intoxicated and taken into hospital ! People always use bullying as an excuse for stuff; being fat, messy, etc. I was tortured in school as well and I love cleaning and stuff. There is no excuse. I'm not 600#. My weight is from medication and I may have issues, but they aren't from bullying.

I thought we might see some new shows, not old ones. I'd kill Richard. Having someone like that fussing around would be stressful and annoying and I bet he stresses himself stupid. The results might look good but its unrealistic and a waste of time when it has to be done over and over and still need to be done again before bedtime. Painting your house might look good and not need redoing for years, but one trip to the bathroom and things will be messed up again, especially with kids. All that cleaning and towel straightening is a complete waste of time.
