I didn’t realize I was in love with this girl till she broke up with me, over miscommunication tbh, and wouldn’t hear me out. I didn’t just cry, I completely shut down. Would randomly think of her for years. Then one day we met again and started talking as friends, then hung out and the flames immediately flames and we kissed and started dating again. Now we’re married 4 years and barely argue bc we both worked on communication, honesty, and improving with compromise.

This was about 2 months after the break up, I was sitting the Bus Station waiting for my bus and the public radio decided to crank out a song I had picked out to propose to her but this was before the break up. It was "our song" and I knew every single flipping word of the song. When it got to the part where I had planned to get down on my knee I burst out crying, in a bus station full of strangers.

That whole 3 month pregnant thing had me space out for a sec. Then realized I think she did it because she thought she could basically cheat as much as she wanted too raw without any concequences as she's already pregnant to her husband/bf. Extreme amounts of sex after finding out your pregnant is what you usually do with the person that got you pregnant in the first place. She had other plans......

You don't necessarily show at 3 months when your pregnant. My first pregnancy I didn't show until 6-7months along, and I went out to everything social related, dancing, you name it, all the way to the end. My boyfriend and his friends would laugh every time someone would try to hit on me. And when I tell them I am pregnant they didn't believe it. And the second time around lol the only reason people knew is because we revealed we were expecting again at our 1st one's 1st bday party, while being 6 months pregnant again. One thing men forget too, is you could have some serious morning sickness and loose so much weight and don't gain it until the end sometimes.

This perspective is interesting. When I broke up with my bf, I was well and truly done. There wasn't a reason, it wasn't his fault, it just wasn't enough. Most girls ask for a break at this point thinking they'll have a chance at a better guy and still have a fallback in case it doesn't work. But if you're not satisfied with your man and you'd rather play games and have it both ways, grow up.

This is kind of nice to hear, cause I don't really see heartbroken men, like guys don't come to me to vent about it, and the few hearts I've broken obviously didn't come to me about it. It gives me hope that men can feel emotion. I think the issue is in how they deal with their feelings though, turning to anger or suppressing their emotions. They harden their hearts and it messes them up for the next person they date.

I was proper feeling the shock of seeing my close family in that kind of emotional anguish. So I got back home, girl told me she coming in two days to see me. I thought it was to like show love, get the t-shirt with his face on it that I got her specifically, a little extra cash wouldn't hurt, coz she support me right. When we sat down she started doing the shifty eyes thing... Bro she didn't even have to say it.. but she still said she can't be with me anymore... Legit felt the floor open up the way my heart sank. My girl broke up with me. I was getting ready to drive up to her uni to see her and try n get her back. I walk back into my room but remembered I needed something out of the bathroom as well. In my haste and flustered self I ran into the half open door, then into the wall, back into the door, into the wall. I must have repeated the cycle 5 times, banging my head on the surfaces every time before I finally stopped and took a breath. My friends I was depressed for 5 years after that day 🤣

girls care less when a relationship ends because we can tell where it’s going and we detach ourselves from that situation before they can even catch on. i do it unknowingly like ik i do it but not until after ans i put the dots together. i’ve been better with communicating how i’m feeling so i don’t do that and thank goodness i’m still in my relationship with my bf almost a full year of talking and we’ll be one year of dating in september

After my ex broke up with me I got into habits I never had ie drinking and hooking up. I felt myself unraveling more and more and I've always been strong and got over things but I couldn't get over that and I decided I needed therapy and antidepressants before something in me permanently break. This was in 2021.. 2023 I'm good, even better due to me seeking the help. I am more comfortable and love myself truly and what I realized that if I was in therapy and on meds before my ex, I wouldn't have dated him. Moral of the story... Heartbreaks hurt, and the mind is fragile, so take care of yourself.

Neither men nor women have the monopoly on being an asshole. I really wish ppl would stop taking sides as though one gender is somehow the better human. Assholery is an all inclusive personality trait. All humans feel emotional pain and carry around past trauma! We should all engage with one another under that premise. Just thought I'd mention that because a lot of ppl seem surprised that men would cry after a breakup as if women are the only ones that have bad experiences in relationship. It doesn't make sense to me that is even a valid thought for anyone.

This has me contemplating the guys though. Women will put up with so much bs and try to express the way they feel and after it gets overlooked so many times, they eventually have to move on because the man they’re with doesn’t seem to care. These have me wanting to hear both sides 🤔 Although, there are some women who just don’t care about anyones feelings but their own. Same thing goes for men occasionally

Just found this video and wanted to share I was leaving for the marines and my girlfriend at the time thought it would be a good idea to make me watch Dear John before I left for boot camp. I should’ve known something was up when I stopped receiving letters from her. I get back home in time for her birthday (I planned it out to surprise her). My FATHER pulls me aside on my first night back before I went out with my friends and shows me screenshots of my ex with another women that she posted on her IG while I was GONE. My young and dumb self still went to her house for her birthday and forgave her….🤦🏻‍♂️ fast forward 2 months and I was away again across the country and I was getting my first tattoo and she texts me telling me that she wanted a break while I’m mid sesh on the table.. after I paid I sat outside on the parking lot crying while my friends were getting their tattoos. I road back with them to the barracks and I was silent the whole ride back 😭 I have since moved on and I’m in a very happy healthy relationship with the one I told her not to worry about

(Let me preface by saying i am a divorced 50yo single mother to 4 grown men) I raised my sons to be gentleman. If you ask a woman out, it's your obligation to pick up the tab BUT I also told them that if they want to meet good women who will be equal partners in any relationship they have, they should never pay or buy them things that they demand. In the past girls have asked them to pay for their nails, their hair, their rent, their car payments etc. They took my advice to heart and went through a lot of women who expected them to be their own personal ATMs. The first time a woman would ask them to pay for something other than dinner if they had been asked out, would get dropped. They are now all with really good girls who support and respect them. Only one of their girls have ever cheated on them or done them dirty. The girls that they're with now are strong independent woman with good jobs, good morals and respect for my boys who can take care of themselves but they know that my sons have their backs just like they have theirs. If you guys want good girls and a committed relationship this is the way to go. If you just want a bunch of hos that you can get off with, keep paying for their luxury items and expect to be cheated on. And then don't act shocked when she dumps you cuz some other guy can buy her more/better things. Relationships are not a monetary transaction. They should be based on mutual love and respect.

@@mmn7209 my ex wasn't a PARTNER he was like having another child and he didn't half my worried or work load he doubled it. I refused to raise my boys to do that. I raised them to take care of themselves. They learn how to do laundry at 10, every night all four of them help me cook dinner, they learn to be handy at just about everything because I made sure they spent time with their grandfather and their uncles. And I told them straight up if you ever get married and your partner comes to me and tells me that you're not pulling your weight you'll have to answer to me. Because I'll be damned if I let four men out into the world who don't understand what it means to be a partner. That when she needs help you get her back and when you need help she's got yours. That's why marriages don't last. Shit gets hard and everybody just gives up. I wanted out at year five and I waited until year 13 because I did not want my kids growing up without a dad but when you beg your partner for things to change and you go to marriage counseling and you do everything you're supposed to do to make it work and they are the ones choosing not to do their share then you have to make a choice. Are they being a good example for the kids that you have and if they are not and they are not willing to change then they are the problem and they need to go. But I'll be damned if I have my kids act like that.

Don't do that. I know yall put up with shit, but some of yall just no good. Both genders full of shit. We just don't normalize men talking about the shit they deal with in relationships. Edit: I got to add that it very well could be true that this man just treated her like shit and she put up with for too long. But we should not just assume that the man had to have wrong. Maybe he was the only one, maybe they both contributed to the relationship getting to that point,or maybe it was just her. Its no better than when I hear another man say that a man won't cheat if a woman is his peace and good to him, and we know life and people are not that simple

@chewdoom8415
@chewdoom8415 Жыл бұрын
@@solaris5922 Women a lot of times put up with stuff they do not have to. As time goes on, resentment builds up, and by that point, the relationship is over mentally so the heartless action is done to end the relationship instead of just leaving. Then you have the differences in communication. The man could be trying to speaking bluntly and honestly, and the woman may react based on how she is feeling and say something under the belt, which leads to a cycle. The roles can even be reversed. Then, a woman could have been made cold by her pass relationships and fuck over the dude from the simplest thing or even vice versa. We men can be dumb, and women can have problems that are not openly discussed but internalized or expected be noticed by a man. It does not matter if it is a man or a woman, sometimes we are both the only shitty one and treat the other like shit.
