That Tetronics guy was a silly turnip! Ignorant, arrogant, aggressive, and making silly threats. The estate was publicly accessible. A public place with implied right of access as there were receptions. . And as there were multiple businesses there, it was shared access, so he alone couldn't make you leave. If he wanted to protect his equipment from being viewable from a public place, he should cover it from sight, including from above. Imagine Google satellites capturing images of it.

Oh dear! Not that again! S33 defines where it’s allowed to wear paramilitary style uniforms. It has no bearing on whether you’re allowed to be on land. You can get publicly accessible land that’s private if you leave the gate open and give implied right of access. Once that implication of a right of access is withdrawn then Common Law kicks in and the use of reasonable force is allowed.

We are not a member of the EU and not a signatory to the ECHR anymore. Our Human Rights Act says nothing at all about filming. There is a right to expression however, that is a conditional right which can be overwritten by other UK legislation and / or other competing elements of the HRA

I never understand this argument of you should ask permission to film people has any company ever asked me if I’m okay to be filmed as I walked past their premises and their CCTV catch me.
