My name is David and with my dog Lefty we travel the country in our ambulance conversion RV. I made this change to my life and you can too! Like, subscribe and comment! Lefty would appreciate it - he wants the adventures to keep coming!
The Campulance is a 2002 Ford E450 Marque Commando 164 Class III ambulance powered by the Ford 7.3l Powerstroke turbo diesel engine and a 4 speed 4R100 transmission. Lefty is a 68lb American Staffordshire Terrier (best I can tell) that came from the Verona Street Animal Shelter (www.vsas.org/) in March 2014 at the age of 9 months. My 1st time here was last spring. Watching the full timer’s video really did help! I go to Parker, Yuma, Buckeye 1-2 times a month to go to Walmart, Costco, Sam’s, etc. Get most small things in town. I get mail at Ironwood, $85 for 6 months no charge for packages with a mailbox, otherwise $5 or more based on weight. Well worth it since I get a few amazon packages a week!

I used them my first year then I switched to bcm for $79/year. They just raised the price to $99 :/. I receive 50 or more packages a year for that price of my annual.

@@TheCampulanceMan they use to charge $2 a package for P.O. Box holder, they dropped that charge for P.O. Box holders. I live in a park near them. They have 2 levels of box holders. I went with the cheapest. I spent more getting packages delivered there in 5 weeks in the spring

OUPES, i didn't win, haha. I used to be a medical provider in the health clinic there. Quartzsite is an interesting place. I lived in my RV in the big RV park. It was comfortable there. Have a great day Dave and Lefty. ❤

My cousin Patrick and wife Linda have gone out to Quartzsite a number of times,with various rigs. Patrick loves it out there. He and Linda are from the wet and cold northern British Columbia and likely dry out in the desert heat! Thanks for the tour through Quartzsite! Very helpful!

Hi Dave, I guess that OUPES will make elevatorman's Christmas something very special. Looks like Q has all the things you need to keep life going on a daily basis. It almost looks like Florida being so flat but then you look off in the distance and see those beautiful mountains then you know you are out west. 40 years ago I drove across the country and just caught the tip of Arizona when departing Utah. I always loved that part of the country but never got a chance to come back. Thanks for the tour and hope the both of you stay safe. We all hope to see your next vid real soon...

Life out there in the winter in the deep Southwest. I find that to be another planet away from where I have resided my entire life. 2024 will have some possible scenarios which will place so many people on yet another planet . We should be cognizant moving forward. Not paranoid, but, not oblivious either….. Please give Lefty the soup and nuts on this fact. Thank you David for your continued commitment to story……

Someone dropped a dog exactly like Lefty at our place. The one here is black and white: but, he talks constantly, just like your Lefty. Unfortunately we cannot keep him, but, I am impressed with how well he learns, and, ultimately how talkative he is!!! He is such a sweet dog. Never had been around Staffordshire Terriers, but I am impressed. ☺

Thanks for the tour. How do you know where to camp? In other words, how did you pick the spot where you are? I'm assuming there's a map showing all the different areas. I want to go out there, just have no idea where to start since there are so many areas.

Thanks for the introduction of Quartsite commerce. Although I would like some clarification. How far off the pavement were you camping?. How many miles to the grocery? Total miles in/back to complete the errands? Do you make this trek weekly? Go into town on the motorcycle mid week for small items/mail? How often does the mail service expect you to pick up your mail? What is the dump/trash fee? Water 5 dollars for 5 gallons? In my metro, water is 50 cents per gallon at a kiosk, 65 cents at the "water store". Have you seen anyone surround their rig with a 36 inch high solid barrier to keep rodents away?

What about law enforcement in Quartsite? City police? Sheriff? Rangers? Are they overbearing? Leave campers alone or use traffic enforcement as a money generator scheme? Any license plate readers? Any crime problems either in town or at campsites?

Hey David! I’ve got a dumb question- are there mile markers or something to let you know where to pull in to your area? Looks all the same or are there just a few turnoffs in that area? I probably didn’t see the surrounds to your turnoff so I probably missed a key item. 😵‍💫❤️🐈‍⬛
