Alex Marko I think I acted like him once when I was about five years old and played my first ever racing game called burning road, pretty much yelling that the ai is cheating and that something is wrong with the game because I was gettting beaten, badly. This moron makes a living out of playing 10% of the time and crying like a bitch for 90% of it.

How does a former pro fighting game player not realize that you can't press buttons in order to block? 'Cause you can audibly hear him pressing buttons whenever he gets hit and claims to be blocking. I don't know, I'm just preaching to the choir at this point, but it bugs me so much that I just had to point it out.

Maybe it's just because I lack any aptitude for or particular interest in fighting games, but the idea of some damage as being 'earned' whereas other damage is 'unearned' seems to be on roughly the same intellectual level as whining about 'noob-tubers' on CoD or demanding that all Smash games you play have no items, no characters besides Fox and be restricted to Final Destination. Namely, a way to bitch and moan which has the handy side-benefit of sucking the fun out of the game.

Honest question. Does Phil know that you can block both high AND low? Because he always acts so surprised when he's blocking and gets hit, it's the only explanation. For a "former pro-fighting game player", he sure doesn't seem to understand the fundamentals of fighting games. And I don't think Phil quite understands the meaning of the word "random".

oOKffeeOo To be fair to his ego, placing 4th in that tournament put him above all the other US players. But again, nobody cared about that tournament because it was generally agreed to be a botched port that they weren't told they would be playing. Other than that, he hasn't done anything particularly noteworthy. It's possible he's won local tournaments (he's at least claimed on his forums to have won Tekken tournaments), but who knows.

I also consider myself ass at fighting games, (In ultimate my main team is Ghost Rider (bnb is 8 buttons) on CoR, Nemesis (magic series->ground bounce->magic series->wall bounce->magic series->launcher->air rave->super) on launcher slam and Amaterasu (mash forward heavy) on cold star.) but I know that my Iron Man (who I play on point with Strange and Akuma) is a lot better than the one that Phil was complaining about cheating with Servbot Surprise->Proton Cannon. Also no matter where he is on the screen he will use Electromagnetic Disruptor if Akuma's assist hits, even if he's in the corner and could easily confirm into his """"""""bnb combo."""""""" And BTW Phil, no matter how hard you mash that Hyper Gravitation input, it will not come out faster and suddenly combo.

41:55 what he did was perform a Cross-Over Counter, as it clearly says on-screen. It most likely happened because he was mashing Assist while holding forward.
