Great advice, the only escape from a choke is to prevent it from happening before its applied. An applied choke is equivalent to a a strike that will KO you, there are no blocks or evasions after you get hit lol. My old teacher showed me the reality when he just hit me with the choke instead of applying it. He asked me if I thought I could escape as he looked down at me half unconscious lol and he didn't hit hard either.

technically, you're saying to all those who got caught in the cage and still survived chockes that the moment they got caught they simply should have tapped??!! well history taught us that they fortunatelly didnt take your advice, with du respect ..... because that's "I EITHER WIN 100% OR ITS THE FLOOD" reasoning...... life teaches us you'll never be able to have the circumstances you want, you need to learn to deal with what you have........and in most situations there is still something to do to ...... just to understand me, its like someone telling you "you're totally wrong, because the only escape from a choke is just not to get in a confrontation, or just live in a desert and avoid human contact" ....
