It's easy to blame the content creators for what the Algorithm is pushing, but a lot of this is just people uploading whatever the algorithms pick up on because otherwise your views plummet dramatically. For example, if I upload a video about releasing small mice I get 3000 to 5000+ views on a short, but if I do a short about my gaming channel it gets 26 max. The algorithm has become recursive and will keep shovelling lower quality versions of the same results until something replaces them.

No I do not care about Natalie’s selfie that I’m seeing for some reason, no I don’t want to see “satisfying” goopy shit getting squished, and I definitely don’t care about Karen’s throwing fits in a Walmart. The only thing keeping me from uninstalling that stupid app is that I use it to text my friend because we have never bothered to exchange phone numbers. Great video btw.

Im not suffering from brainrot yet, but I am slowly going insane. It started a few years back, I loved to play outside until it happened, I got lazy. Then I slowly stopped hanging out with my feiends. These days, I only go out if I really need to. Im mostly on social media or playing League Of Legends. So far, there has been no medicine to cure or prevent my illness. I am slowly descending into madness. In about a week, I’ll probably download Reddit, and in a month, I’ll have Twitter. In a year, Im surely to be stuck in my bed.
