"Fogo the chão" means ground fire. The name originates from the practice of roasting an bull ribs on the ground, surrounded by firewood, for about 6 hours. It’s a country tradition here in the south of Brazil.

We love it there! So much that we go at least every wedding anniversary, but we do go more often than that now that the Bellevue location is open. We traveled to the Portland location for anniversaries and went anytime we were down there. +1 on that bottom sirloin! Parmesan crusted pork loin and bacon wrapped chicken are my other favorites.

Wow dude, I agree exactly with your taste. I love their sirloin. It's so juicy and flavorful and I love the sear. I also was underwhelmed by their filet and thought the picanha was even worse. But they have a lot of other cuts that are really good. Like parmesan crust chicken or pork. But yeah for beef I feel like sirloin is their best. Haven't tried their wagyu. I love this place though. Got my boss and his wife a $150 certificate for dinner here for Christmas.
