Neace is a good LoL Player and knows his stuff. But mentally he has some serious Isues!! Thats not the way a good Teacher is acting! He behaves like a liitle Kid not a grown Man. Honestly the guy didn't deserve the attitude. A full hour trying to retake a game that was lost from min 15, carrying out almost every instruction to the best of his ability (despite some of the instructions would appear to me as pretty unclear/ambiguous or simply can't understand the reasoning behind it to extrapolate into a continuous play), while simultaneously adding a bunch of new concepts to your gameplay that you don't usually do (and definitely take some serious conscious effort to perform accurately). The veigar was champ, I don't give a fuck how entitled you feel about your "teaching", it deserves an apology. The guy hesitated for a second and gets shit for it, completely uncalled for.

Neace bro, love your content and all that, but I do think you need to start thinking of this kind of tilt as a flaw in your coaching style. Getting mad is one thing, but you're not here to make them win THIS game, you're here to point out their flaws so they can learn from them. Yelling is fine, motivational even, but telling students you hate watching their game and making them feel shitty about it will make them MORE nervous and LESS likely to commit. It looked to me like he didn't know he wasn't challenging. He went up and started trying to find the perfect angle of attack. This needs to be explained to him with X's and O's, which is in my opinion what you're best at.

Neace and all of the viewers are forgetting what it's like to be extremely nervous and tense in a situation like this, where your nerves are already bad because you're mentally learning to react and make the right moves in an instant. You don't gain that ability right or, or from someone telling you what to do. It takes practice and when you're this nervous and then you're being trained by a pro who's insulting you, you now have the pressure of the game, the pressure of learning, the pressure of being yelled at and insulted, etc stacking up on top of you. In a situation like this, you're not going to follow instructions, because as badly as you want to, your nerves are all over the place and brain signals misfire and it causes confusion, panic and accidentally hitting wrong buttons. This was a young guy, probably a teenager that he was teaching, which makes it even more understandable that the kid was too nervous to perform perfectly the first time around.

@@nationarmy2514 I can see it both ways honestly. I mean definitely yes people will respond differently to different methods/styles of instruction. However, his content and style is public and very obvious. I'm thinking about getting coaching soonish: I won't be taking on coaching from someone I have NO idea what their style of instruction is. In my opinion, this form is acceptable *if I trust them.* In other words, you only hesitate on clear delineation if you don't trust the person giving the advice. It is what it is; I would trust Neace, 1000%. This guy clearly didn't. If someone who is challenger tells me to flash, I press the button. If they tell me to cage and stand in cage, goddamn I stand in cage. The only reason I would doubt is if I don't think they know what the fuck they're talking about, that I think I'll die anyways, AND that my method is better than theirs--meaning this dude thought he could play it better than with Neace telling him what to do. And it is what it is; some people shut down and buckle when someone yells at them. I think that's okay, it's simply a natural response for some. That's fair. But I don't think that's on Neace. He calmly expressed what the guy should do like 5 seconds in advance. And honestly, he didn't even really yell--not until the play was good and dead. Even then, he didn't go off that hard despite frustration clearly being high. It's probably frustrating knowing this dude paid you good money for your advice only to see him not even follow it. Why would I go to a doctor I didn't trust? Why would I eat at a restaurant I think I'll get food poisoning at? I mean now the dude knows that coaching style isn't for him; it's probably for the best for both of them. It's just kinda sad though as an instructor I think for your time knowingly being valuable, you want to share your knowledge with people, and you want to actually meaningfully help people improve--yet then they just ignore you and don't listen. :/

Shorts are a beast of it's own. Right now they're the meta and it can really push your channel to get more subs and views, but personally i think you should make a separate channel for them. @@Oscar-bj9ut Well shorts on youtube are quite new, so it's hard to state that there's evidence to it, but shorts are that kind of content where people mindlessly scroll through without much care, the people who watch 20/30+ minutes videos usually have more "commitment" and the content that's gonna be used for the shorts is the same in the long videos, in Neace's case anyway. I also noticed that youtube tends to push more the "shorts only" kind of channles rather than those who upload both shorts and long videos, probably because youtube wants to compete in that field with tik tok or w/e. A lot of creators are taking that route where they have a main channel that they keep "clean" with long videos, and a "short only" channel. It's also a nightmare when you're looking for a video of which you don't remember the title, so you go to the channel videos list and it's floaded with shorts and long videos mixed together xD

Tbf I'd be scared of the yi running at me when the rest of their team were up moments after... Reaction at the end a little overblown and tbh comes across like a bit of a dick move... The guy was trying but clearly we're not all challengers... lacking the confidence to execute a 1v2/3 is totally normal but just because it's such a long game Neace loses his head. Typical adage in football... Some players need a kick and some need an arm round their shoulder... This guy clearly didn't need a kick.

I don't think yelling at the client at the end there was productive or justified at all. It doesn't seem obvious to me the client was intentionally ignoring your advice. It was either a lack of confidence or stress getting to him. Atleast that is what it looked like to me. Would have been more productive I think the first time it occurred to address it calmly tell him not to stress out about it and to have confidence you are telling him the right play, and even if he fucks it up to not worry. Just focus on trying to pull of what you're told to. If it still happens again don't freak out sure yell , but don't let it get to you. Once the plays dead and he fucks up by not listening again you switch back to calm mode. Point out to him one of his flaws is that he doesn't have the confidence to pull off gritty plays where he's got to put himself in danger and duke it out. Probably why he is on veigar. Lots of mages and other ranged players have this issue. Its a bad habit they develop and aren't definitively punished for because it is much harder to identify the plays that you don't do but would win you the game if you had just put yourself in a more dangerous and ballsy position. Which is where I think you are in a unique position to point out and help them break this habit. Its will take time for most though. I think you let it get to you too much. Itd be one thing if he was clearly just ignoring you with intent to do so, but it seems more likely to me the guy just choked. He also seems to be cripplingly timid in both his ability to follow your instructions, but also personally as he kind of just wilted and accepted your anger without really trying to speak up so you could understand whether or not he intentionally ignored your instructions. He needs to work on that. I know because I used to be the same way, and learned that you need to speak up in these kinds of situations. Make it clear if you were just stressed out and choking and not intentionally ignoring neace. It would save both parties some grief. Both parties got something to work on.

This is why Chill Neace exists, I suppose. If you don't have the same mindset it simply takes time to process information, no matter how easily it might be spelled out for you. As a coach you should not get frustrated like that. I couldn't get coached like that either. Accept your students mistakes and teach 'em afterwards, like you usually do. Stay more calm in the moment. That's my suggestion, anyways. Just because these exchanges are the exact reason I couldn't see myself pay money to get coached from ya.

This guy did not deserve that at the end...I feel like that was a bunch of pent up anger from so many cumulative clients not being able to listen and respond the way he wants them to, but this client literally just tried to position for .3 sec instead of running straight and got BLASTED by Neace. Client tried his best all game, panicked and misplayed yes but those are less deserving of rage than someone with an inflated ego no? People who have the wrong attitude or ego deserve some stern no bullshit talk but someone like this...his misplays were extremely costly but still did not warrant such a response. Also Neace was clearly not in his usual mood from the start...seemed to be annoyed the entire time, very quiet.

Agreed, Neace blasting him at the end feels so weird, this guy just concentrated for 50+ min and he proceeds to make 2 mistakes (probably because of having a 50 min game on his shoulders) and then gets screamed at. Isn't the point of coaching to get better at the game? Sure he didn't clutch out a win but the point should be for the student to learn and improve not for Neace to be able to flex his students winning all their games. I can understand the reaction if the student had talked back or argued but he very obviously just choked under pressure.

@@SiDrift the thing with Yi was blatantly ignoring, whether that was bc the client just hard panicked or didn’t understand what Neace was telling him to do. But at the end, like someone else had mentioned I think he was trying to do exactly what Neace said, to “challenge” them. He came out of base immediately and ran at them, but he wiggled. To the client, he IS doing what he’s told, atleast trying to. To only run straight and not try to position at all is a lesson, but Neace literally just told him to challenge them and then exploded when the client tried to. It’s so disappointing to watch.

The enemy team wasn't even respawning for another full 60 seconds and they easily could have gotten the inhib and maybe even ended. 55:55 53 minutes into the game. Both their main carrys yi and yone were dead. Leaving ezreal with 40 percent and zilean about to die as he wasted ult on himself running away and GP just respawned, but even he gets chunked they are all sub 40 percent. They could have easily fought the 3v3 and bare minimum got the inhib in the scuffle. Brand even ends up killing the zilean. Instead you had him back in his team's face, they both die, and they get no inhib. Then you turn around and have him fight the same 2 people he could have in the 3v3 with his team at their base in an ending position? Like wtf kinda call was that. Then you turn around and flame him when he loses at the end? I liked some of your other video's, but you just flat out shit the bed on this and then blamed him for it. I don't think microing someone's champ is the best way to coach. First, stress like that prevents ideal motor function. The brain literally stops communicating under stress. They've done studies on it. Second, it prevents you from seeing weaknesses on the student. This guy was obviously learning, and his mechanics were incredibly sluggish, even on a relatively simple champion. Rather than essentially telling him where to click you should absolutely give him the macro and then debrief the mechanical misplays. That last Yi fight for example, it's impossible to know how he would've played it out on his own, that to me is a big issue that a coach needs to know in order to give him the best advice. And you denied the opportunity.

treat a shorts channel like a way to advertise the neace brand. It's going to work because the people who wanna watch the full lesson are going to come straight to this channel and the main channel. You can also launch some shorts for chill neace to give it more traction. However use footage from vids, don't look directly into making shorts.

I don't think this guy's a good coach at all. I don't think anyone actually learn anything from his coaching, and every time I've seen his videos his students lose and look lost.

I think he was just really nervous. For a better coaching session I would almost suggest no talking from the player. Not until after the game. You can review plays and then talk about them or something.
