Going into item counters to champions is next level and something you do not hear people talk about people find a build and will stick to it every game no variations trash people the basics about item countering can make an unfavorable match up into a favorable one. with urgot whats helped me is not letting him auto attack the minions immediately so he doesn't build rage. i can proc PTA lvl1 which is a good trade. then he struggles to get the lvl2 all in.

Tip for this urgot guy, when fighting trynd, you have to extend your ult to the whole time, Because he will ult when he's in execute range, you have to hold it so he has that 80% slow until the very end of the ult time and then that's like 3 seconds of 80% slow and a second or 2 of him being executed and if you time it perfectly you kill him after he survived the execute or you execute him when his ult ends, and you cannot do this if you hit him with your ult when he's already in execute range since it auto executes

The way I like to think about Tryndamere is that if he doesn't have ult up you can just imagine he's any other champ at 10% health.

VS Trynd is a rare case where you should start with R in a fight and save E. If he E's on to you into melee range to try and fight and kill you with ult, R first while he still has a fair bit of health over 25% execute range, drain all his health and force Trynd ult, use as much of your R time as you can before you're going to die then pull him in. If he lives through the execute then E him and kill him. If you engage with E and then R, your R will go off immediately and execue him, he will live and win fights off his ult every time. Its not intuitive because in almost all other Urgot scenarios you never want to start with R and you always want to E into guarunteed R when you can. Exhaust is also quite good.

Also the ability is called mocking shout ... he's calling you a chicken for running.

Got me mre motivated to play, Thanks coach! 😌 Sorry long text, as an urgot player i wanted to share to him and other peeps interested with urgot (to play him or against him) sme tips for mre mechanics efficiency. Urgot vs Tryn is not necessarily a counter match up for urgot but the match up does get harder in terms of dueling at late game in general. If ur nt fed enough with ur lvl 16 scaling u do have team if ever tryn is mre fed than u. But quality of life against this match up is taking phase rush. U wont need stridebreaker as much here but its still great. As long as one combo and another auto or two wud get him low to force ult, its gonna be a skill match up at best with the rune. His combo when he was attempting to ambush tryn from bush during laning phase cud be better if he started q+auto>e>auto>w to maximize dmg efficiency or if ur confident with ur aim walk up to him at a gud angle from bush then auto+q>e>auto>w auto cancel. The 1st attempt was alil far so q > e was the safe combo but i thnk i wud have still walk abit closer the moment i pop out of bush i walk then immediately q+walk slightly closer again then auto then e, if im nt confident my e will hit after q+auto i back off instead. Always use the front leg b4 doing a combo, whenever u can, whether its to ambush or duel. Also if u have phase rush auto>e>auto/q wud give u the movespeed to escape in quick response or use the other legs faster with that ms boost. Even if u miss ur e since u started auto+q after ur e u can auto to still proc it quickly. phase rush gonna counter tryn sticking potential even with his slow, phase rush has slow resistance, then hold ult cast to slow him. itll be ez to kite out his ult timer. If smehow phase rush isnt enough safety like u mess up the kite or u had to force ult pull early to survive. (As much as possible, only try to use ult after tryn uses ult or ult early that ur next auto or ability will force ult, unless ur that strong to ult when he isnt dangerously low yet cuz doing ur ult b4 he ults just gives him free gap close then he ults wasting ur ult cc execute channel that cud have been used to waste 1.5s of his ult) What to do if ur not owning him or rekking u and he is in a situation to ult or have already started ult: ult pull early to cancel his auto, if u can time it, then auto+e+auto+q+w, that way ur ult wud waste 1.5s and he is interrupted again with e wasting another 1s of his dps. if u have phase rush, u can run away here, or if u still have enough hp to f8 after getting some distance, instead of totally running, only have enough distance away that u can still auto him or reach q and walk towards where u think he will run away. dnt commit e if ur not confident with ur advantage, u have phase rush to kite so u can save e, or use e and take advantage of phase rush to run away and hit him again once he stops chasing. In that early game, the reason its nt working out that well is that he is committing too early to the tryn, hes kinda too healthy, ideally u play confident at harassing tryn without fury but only commit with e when hes low ( about half hp or so) or when u want to block/cancel his auto and back off. With phase rush and ur fed u probably wont need to start with ult u can just full combo with e and back off with phase rush then the next auto q might have to force ult if he commits use e to waste his timer then run away with phase rush then u can use ult when its abt to run out. Hell be dead here cuz after that his ult is only 1-2 second left (or hes dead) maybe its enough to dash away but urgot can also gap close and he has q that will reach hIm if e still on cd usually its abt to be up after tryn ult if u have sme cdr items. Advance mechanic bonus infos: U can mask ur ult animation pretty well (not completely but definitely harder to react, u wudnt c the short channel of urgot b4 firing the missile) by cancelling r with w cancel or w+r. The mask gets better when ur farming creeps while you w cancel into r. Auto a minion then w+r makes it hard to see it. Better if u r facing the enemy when u do this ult masking so urgot doesnt suddenly face the direction u ulted. U can actually slightly extend the ult execute channel with ur e. As long as u e b4 the actual chains touch the target with ult 2nd cast. The e will finish its animation 1st then pulling for the execute, effectively extending ur ult timer to at least 4.5s. This also allows me to catch up my ult flash into the enemy backline better. Quick tip: if u can conveniently walk to bush b4 ulting do it so they dnt c u doing ur ult channel. Thats also how i kill sion when he successfully ult away smetimes the extra .5s, smetimes nt ulting full distance and chains hit and stop ult but i delay the chain pull with e. Nt sure abt this one but i thnk the max timer for the chains to hit is abt 1-1.25s or so if its way beyond the cast range of ult cast 1. w can proc sheen twice, activation and early deactivation both will empower ur atk. E flash targets the location where you clicked it even if u flash. So u can actually fool the enemy by e dash away but u can flash backwards to hit them. Or u can do an angled 90° e flash to flank overthe blocking tank and hit the backline.

Tyrndamere ult last 5 secs and his ult cd is about 65 or 67 sec for lvl 1.. It is quite short actually.. Once he use his ult and base back, most likely his ult is back when he go back to his lane. The only way to fight him is burst him hard as fast as possible and kite him away for that 5 sec.. If you play ignite, then count his ult duration and cast your ignite after his ult run down about 3 to 4 sec. Even the world no. 1 Tryndamere - Foggedftw2 is not that confident to match up against Urgot 1v1 with same par skill.

What I like is I do random builds all the time like this which wins against my counters and then around mid game some tool tells me how I should build or I am crap at the game.

im no challenger but IMO bramble into Trynd is kinda sub-optimal, his only healing is his Q and he can just wait till the grievous wounds debuff expires, IMO Wardens mail is way better in this match-up and build Chempunk chainsword if needs be
