Video editing is near and dear to my heart and thankfully I don't have to suffer through it alone! I looked at some of the biggest editing subreddits to find the spiciest memes about editing. If you have any other subreddits you think I should check out, let me know in the comments!

The last bit about how badly edited stuff can pass off as being made on purpose is so true. It's great that editors can just leave in small mistakes and it'll be like just a meme for the video

Even as a non-editor, these memes were absolutely great. I've done a few personal photoediting things in GIMP in the past though, so the PNG one definitely hit home the most xD

I used to find edited fun but after using Vegas Pro 15 for like 4 years now. I’m now hollow on the inside. I heard good things about DaVinci Resolve , should I change to that?

@@mastaw i think 1080p is plenty fine if you ask me, most people will watch videos on their phone anyways, and if you're not making something that is made for people with high-res screens most people probably won't care anyways

1,000% yes! I used Vegas Pro for years before I switched to Premiere Pro, and these days I'd recommend just about anything else TBH.

you set it to "save every 3 minutes" it crashed and you still find out it saved like 15 minutes ago, adobe really is magic

I only just started using adobe premiere this week after editing on imovie for years. I've never wanted to vomit blood more before in my life. I went from splashing around in a kiddie pool to swimming across the English channel in the blink of an eye. Oh I also messed up my first video by editing in the wrong outro, I'd rather eat broken glass then change it at this point.

@@BlueShadow74_ no, my main is graphic design as the clasic way of designing brands and printing stuff, every other skill i have is stuff i learned after the fact, that is why i know how to do a lot of stuff but i am good in none.
