The Lagos State Police Command has said the corpse of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, would be exhumed for autopsy to aid investigation into the cause of his death, if it is necessary.
The PUNCH reports that Mohbad, 27, died on Tuesday, however, the cause of his death has been a subject of controversy since the tragic incident.
Speaking during an Instagram live session with media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, on Thursday night, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the police would probe to know the cause of Mohbad’s death.

I don’t know why you all are acting ignorant! This is a case that is drug related, Naira Marley is neck deep in it and there’s a possible link between him and people in high places who are protecting him. Otherwise he should have been charged for bullying and harassment since. Even his NDLEA case has been swept under the carpet.

I have a feeling that the same people who are responsible for his death are probably still threatening his father/family. Why the refusal to do autopsy? Why the urgent burial when he's not a Muslim? It's possible the family is under serious threat. The police should please look into it.

Guys don't pretend you don't have any idea. If you are gifted, talentless people will use you, some will charm you so you don't go. Talentless people will rely on "other powers" , when they see a proper talent they know and will go to any extent to be relevant if possible use his star, glory or even kill him. This is not new it comes in different circumstances. Ask traditional musicians like Juju, Fuji, Apala. Some will get talent to be initiated into gangs or cults to tie them down. He was probably forced into something he didn't want, he tried to get out and was taken down.
